"So you actually transformed your brother into a cat? Should I even bother asking why?"
"The alternative was cursing him with eternal life and burying him somewhere no one would ever find him. I figured the feline transformation was more merciful. Though I did contact a veterinarian on the drive over and made an appointment for neutering next week."
"Please tell me you're not serious."
"I transformed my own brother into a house cat." I bury my face in my palms. "It wasn't intentional, and I have absolutely no idea how to reverse it. I warned you that I had done something terrible."
Antonia stares at me without blinking. "Fucking witches. Out of every damn human in this entire fucking city, my sire had to fall head over heels for a fucking witch."
"My apologies?" I run my fingers through my hair nervously. "If it makes you feel any better, I fell just as hard for him."
