Nora's POV
My eyes snap shut as I whirl around, stumbling backward through the doorway. The image of Antonia bent over that desk while some dark-haired vampire takes her from behind burns into my retinas like a brand. I stand frozen in the hallway, too shocked to concentrate enough to pull my consciousness back into my physical body.
The office door bursts open. Antonia appears in the doorway, hastily zipping her dress while shooting daggers at me with her eyes.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"That's rich, coming from you," I manage with a shaky laugh. "I came to check on you since you weren't answering your phone. But clearly you're doing more than fine."
"She actually is a witch." The vampire I assume must be Oscar pulls his pants up, studying me with curious eyes. "I thought Flora was just talking out her ass." He steps closer and waves his hand directly through my astral form.
"Stop that." I jerk away from him. "That feels incredibly weird."
