Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: The Wish of the Regulators

When An Bao's mother noticed that he had once again mastered computer programming to its limits and was beginning to grow bored, she suggested to him, "Why not try learning other languages?"

On the surface, it seemed like a simple suggestion to help An Bao find new enjoyment. In truth, it was the shared wish of the emotional regulators—they all hoped An Bao would learn other languages, so they could privately pass that knowledge on to their own children. It was an unspoken understanding, and there was nothing wrong with it.

An Bao was already fluent in Mandarin, English, Vietnamese, and Hokkien. Now, he was going to learn Japanese, Korean, and Thai. As long as he had learning resources, An Bao welcomed them all, committing to mastering each one thoroughly.

An Bao had once worked as a professor, but he couldn't stand teaching what he considered "a group of fools" or having his own time taken up, so he quit. With much more time on his hands, he devoted himself to writing books. Whether they were technical manuals, reference books, novels, or joke collections—every book he wrote sold exceptionally well, and he stopped worrying about money long ago.
