It was Sunday, July 21, the first day of summer break. Yesterday was the last day of the first trimester. It had been 13 days since Class 1-A spent the day after school at the pool. The rest of the school year had gone by in a flash. Ruka was alone in the dorm building, getting dressed for the day. She chose to wear a white short sleeve shirt and short shorts with frayed edges. Suddenly, there was a knock at her door. She wondered who it was since there was no class to be escorted to today and the summer training camp wasn't suppose to be until August 2. Ruka opened the door to see Izuku standing there. He was wearing a maroon red shirt and navy blue shorts.
"Izuku? What are you doing here?" Ruka asked Izuku who smiled widely.
"I got permission from Principal Nezu to come visit you over the summer so you wouldn't be lonely. I also managed to convince him to talk to the Hero Public Safety Commission to let you go out in public without being shackled to me like last time as long as you wear the quirk canceling cuffs." Izuku said, his smile growing wider. It almost seemed as if he was proud of himself for doing that. Ruka just laughed.
"Oh Izuku. What am I gonna do with you?" Ruka said as Izuku thought for a brief moment.
"Well you could go on a date with me. We didn't really get to shop for anything during that mall trip with our class after all." Izuku said.
"Sure. Let's go back to the mall then." Ruka said as Izuku pulled the quirk canceling cuffs out from his pocket.
"Your wrists madam." Izuku said as he knelt down on his right knee like he was proposing and held out his hand. Ruka laughed and put her left hand in his hand. He kissed her hand before clicking one cuff onto her wrist. Then Ruka gave him her right hand and he clicked the other cuff onto that wrist.
"I just need to go grab my purse. Then I'll be ready to go." Ruka said as Izuku stood up. She went back into her dorm and grabbed her purse. Then she opened the door and Izuku held out his hand to her. Ruka reached out and grabbed his hand and they took off together. They walked to the train station to head to the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall. When they got there, they went to go look for wrist weights first for Izuku. Ruka ended up getting some too, plus some ankle weights as well. They shopped around for a bit for some outfits and supplies for camp and more stuff for training. A few people there recognized both Izuku and Ruka.
"Hey it's that guy from U.A. who won first place in the obstacle race in the sports festival." A guy nearby said, pointing at Izuku.
"Wait, is that the Blue Dragon Assassin he's with?" Another guy said to a girl next to him who probably was his girlfriend.
"Yeah I think it is. The news said that U.A. took her in for rehabilitation." The girl said back to the guy.
"Why did U.A. think taking in such a dangerous villain was a good idea?" The guy asked his girlfriend.
"Who knows." The girl replied while shrugging.
"Looks like we're both pretty well known." Izuku said to Ruka.
"Guess so." Ruka said as she and Izuku headed to the food court since they were both a bit hungry. Izuku ordered katsudon and Ruka ordered a Japanese style crepe. As they ate together, they occasionally shared bites of each other's food with one another. Feeding each other like couples do in romance movies. Uraraka happened to be there at the mall with Hagakure. They both spotted Izuku and Ruka right as Ruka let Izuku take a bite of her crepe.
"OMG they're so cute together! They're acting just like a couple!" Hagakure said as Uraraka sighed.
"They are a couple. Deku recently told me they're dating now." Uraraka said as Hagakure squealed.
"Really?! We should go say hi." Hagakure said as she pulled Uraraka's arm, heading towards Izuku and Ruka.
"Hey Midoriya, Ryuutou. Funny running into you guys here." Hagakure said as Izuku and Ruka turned towards her and Uraraka.
"Oh hey Hagakure, Uraraka. What are you guys doing here?" Izuku said, wiping the whipped cream from Ruka's crepe off of his mouth.
"Well I didn't get much shopping done the day our class went to the mall last time. Hagakure just happened to text me right as I was about to leave my place, asking if I had any plans for today. And then she ended up joining me so here we are." Uraraka explained.
"That's why we're here too. Izuku and I literally got no shopping done that day." Ruka said as she took the last bite of her crepe, finishing it.
"So when did you two start dating?" Hagakure asked as Izuku and Ruka looked at each other, then back at her.
"Two weeks ago." Ruka answered.
"No way! Really? Who confessed first?" Hagakure asked as Izuku and Ruka blushed, both remembering how she found out he liked her when he humped her cowgirl style in his sleep while having a wet dream about her.
"Technically Izuku confessed first." Ruka said, not going into the actual details of what really happened between them at Izuku's apartment which Izuku was thankful of. He was hoping that Hagakure wouldn't ask how which fortunately she didn't.
"Aww that's cute. Have you guys kissed yet?" Hagakure asked Ruka and Izuku. Both of them just blushed and smiled softly, remembering their first kiss.
"OMG you have!" Hagakure said excitedly, clapping her invisible hands together. Uraraka wasn't as excited about the news, but she tried to be supportive of them even though she was disheartened by their relationship.
"Oh really? Congratulations you guys." Uraraka said with a fake cheery smile on her face, her eye twitching ever so slightly as her body tensed a little bit. She remembered what Ruka told her about being able to see through her facade, but Ruka already knew she wasn't super fond of her and that she liked Izuku so it's not like it mattered if she saw through her mask or not.
"Well anyways, sorry to interrupt your date. We just wanted to say hi is all." Hagakure said as she started to walk away, Uraraka going with her.
"See you at camp Deku, Ryuutou." Uraraka said as she waved goodbye to her classmates.
"See you guys later Uraraka, Hagakure." Izuku said as Ruka smiled in their direction.
"Yep see you." Ruka said waving back at them. She watched as they disappeared into the crowd of the mall.
"That was nice of them to stop by and say hi to us." Izuku said as he looked at Ruka.
"Yeah but I feel like Uraraka has a grudge against me. I could see it in her eyes and her body language." Ruka said. Before Izuku even had a chance to ask, she answered.
"I'm an ex-criminal who stole her crush from her. Of course she's going to dislike me." Ruka said as Izuku gently took Ruka's hands in his.
"You may be a former villain, but you didn't steal me away from her. I chose you to be my girlfriend. You're the one I happened to fall for." Izuku said, trying to reassure Ruka who smiled softly.
"And besides, I think you're doing great in turning your life around. You've gotten to the point where the Hero Public Safety Commission is allowing you to leave school grounds with me just wearing the quirk canceling cuffs. If you keep up the good work like you have been, you'll be a hero in no time, free of any restrictive cuffs." Izuku added, lightly squeezing Ruka's hands.
"You really think the public will be okay with me roaming the streets freely?" Ruka asked Izuku.
"Well you'll have to prove yourself with your debut. You will probably have to work harder to gain people's trust than the rest of us because of your reputation, but eventually the public should warm up to you." Izuku answered as Ruka sighed.
"Great. It's not even my fault that I became an assassin. I didn't choose that life, I was ripped away from my family and home and forced into life in the Underworld." Ruka said as Izuku's eyes shone with understanding.
"I know Ruka, I know. But you're here now, trying to rewrite your life. And that's what matters." Izuku said as he leaned forward and lovingly touched his forehead to Ruka's as she let out a soft chuckle.
"This is one of the reasons why I fell for you. Because you're so understanding. From the moment I first stepped foot in the classroom, you never judged me like everyone else did." Ruka said, pulling away and smiling softly at Izuku, looking into his emerald eyes with her crimson ones. They stared into each other's eyes for a moment longer until Ruka stood up from her chair.
"We should head back to the school. Unless there's something else you need to get." Ruka said as she gathered her empty food tray.
"I think I have everything I need." Izuku said as he stood up as well, grabbing his empty food tray too. They walked over the trash can and got rid of any disposables and put their trays on the designated spot on top of the waste bin. Then they walked hand-in-hand out of the mall and to the train station where they took the train back to U.A. High. Once they were on campus, Izuku took out the key and unlocked Ruka's quirk canceling cuffs, stuffing the key and her cuffs into his pockets. Then they went back to the dorm building. When they were in the common room on the first floor, Izuku stopped in his tracks. Ruka stopped and looked back at him.
"What's wrong Izuku?" Ruka asked him.
"Oh nothing. It's just... I want to spend more time with you." Izuku said, looking kinda sad. Ruka thought for a moment of what they could do.
"Well there's a TV in the common room here. We could watch a movie together or something." Ruka suggested as Izuku smiled.
"Sounds perfect." Izuku said as they both walked over to one of the couches and plopped down on it next to each other. Ruka found the remote and turned the TV on and pulled up the on demand stuff. She picked out a romantic drama movie to watch. Izuku cuddled close to Ruka as the movie played, wrapping his arms around her torso as he rested his head against her shoulder. During a particular cute and sweet scene, Izuku raised his head and kissed Ruka on the nose, making her giggle at the ticklish feeling of his lips on the tip of her nose. Towards the end of the movie, there was a very intimate scene as the two main characters had finally gotten married and were together after all the bumps they've encountered in their relationship. Ruka had no idea there was going to be a sex scene because she had never seen the movie before. If she did know, she wouldn't have picked it out. But here she was with Izuku, both awkwardly watching as the two characters made love on screen. It didn't show anything explicit, but there was enough implication as to what they were doing. Izuku's mind began to wander, starting to imagine the two characters replaced with him and Ruka. His shorts starting to become increasingly tight as his erection grew. He couldn't cover it up with his hands because they were locked together, resting on Ruka's side. If he removed them to cover himself, it would be too obvious. "Izuku? You're hard." Ruka said as Izuku's face turned a bright red. He was busted.

"I wasn't exactly turned on by the sex scene in the movie... I was aroused because I was starting to imagine you and me doing the same thing. I'm sorry. I understand if you're off-put by me thinking about us that wa-" Izuku started to say but was cut off by Ruka pressing her lips to his. His eyes widened but then closed as he melted into the kiss. Then she pushed her tongue past his lips and began to French him. Their tongues swirling around each other in an elaborate dance. Izuku, getting really into it, ended up pushing Ruka down on the couch so that he was on top. As they made out, he pressed his body against hers and began rolling his hips, his erection rubbing against her lower region. Ruka moaned into the kiss with the added stimulation. Izuku then pulled his hips away and lowered his shorts and boxers just enough so that his penis was exposed. Then he reached down and unbuttoned the button on Ruka's short shorts and pulled the zipper down. "Wait Izuku." Ruka said through heavy breaths.
"Is something wrong Ruka?" Izuku asked as Ruka averted her gaze to the side.
"I don't think we should do this here. This is the common room after all." Ruka said.
"But no one's here right now." Izuku brought up.
"Once everyone moves in, they'll be using this couch too. Would you like to sit on a couch that two of your classmates had sex on?" Ruka asked Izuku who didn't even need to think about it.
"I guess you have a point there." Izuku said as he tucked his member back into his boxers and shorts, pulling them back up.
"We can continue this in my room, okay Izuku?" Ruka said as she reached up and caressed Izuku's cheek with her thumb.
"Okay." Izuku said as he got off of Ruka and they both got up from the couch and walked hand-in-hand to her dorm room.
