Chapter 328 - Chapter 328: Dark Elf Attack

Fortunately, Mjolnir was durable enough. Summoned by Thor, it flew back quickly without sustaining any damage.

However, this strike made Thor realize Algrim's strength. Up until now, this was the first time he had ever encountered someone who could swat away Mjolnir with a single slap.

Fenyx also frowned as he looked at Algrim. Having fought Thor many times, he knew the power of Mjolnir all too well.

Even he himself, under normal conditions, couldn't possibly swat Mjolnir away as effortlessly as Algrim just did.

"I think we need to work together!"

Thor didn't dare to be careless now. Looking warily at Algrim, who was approaching step by step, he said, "There are three of us, and only one of him!"

But just as he finished speaking, Heimdall's brow furrowed sharply. Without a word, he turned and ran out toward the edge of the Bifrost.

Fenyx and Thor were bewildered, but they exchanged a glance and quickly followed. Algrim didn't stop them; he merely turned his head to look behind him, frowning slightly beneath his mask.

He knew the plan had begun, but he was currently in a slightly different position than where he was originally supposed to be.

Arriving on the Bifrost, Fenyx and Thor watched in confusion as Heimdall sprinted along the bridge, not understanding what he was trying to do.

But soon, through his perception, Fenyx faintly sensed that there seemed to be something in the direction Heimdall was pursuing. With a little thought, he realized what it was.

Because of this, as Heimdall was sprinting with all his might, he suddenly heard Fenyx's voice echoing from afar.

"Explosion!"

A crimson magic circle manifested in the sky, and a scorching pillar of fire arrived first, dropping directly in front of Heimdall.

Boom!

Following an explosion, a small spaceship suddenly materialized in midair. Blasted by Fenyx's explosion magic, it plunged toward the sea wrapped in flames.

Heimdall stopped in his tracks and glanced back at Fenyx. But immediately after, his expression shifted again. He looked up at the sky, his face exceptionally grave.

Noticing the change in Heimdall's expression, Fenyx and Thor quickly turned around as well.

Behind them, dozens of spaceships suddenly materialized out of thin air, swiftly flying toward the palace of Asgard with the sound of breaking air.

"Who on earth are they?"

Seeing this scene, Thor asked with a tight frown.

"Forget who they are for now!"

Fenyx looked at Thor speechlessly and immediately asked, "Do you want to stay here and deal with that guy, or go stop the spaceships?"

Thor froze for a moment, then made a quick decision: "I'll deal with him, you go stop the ships!"

Compared to shooting down spaceships, Thor preferred fighting enemies hand-to-hand. Although he knew the opponent was very strong, he wasn't someone who threw in the towel easily.

"Alright!"

Fenyx didn't object. In fact, he preferred dealing with the spaceships anyway. Lacking Incursio, he was a bit insecure about his own defense, so he wasn't very keen on facing Algrim, whose full depth of strength remained unknown.

"Come forth! Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

Instead of flying off to chase the spaceships directly, Fenyx summoned the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and mounted its back.

Again, because he lacked Incursio, he was worried about getting injured if hit by a spaceship. Summoning the Blue-Eyes White Dragon provided some protection; its scales had very high defense, at least much higher than his own defense without armor.

Watching Fenyx ride the Blue-Eyes White Dragon to chase the spaceships, Thor felt a twinge of envy, which intensified his inner desire to find a mount of his own.

Meanwhile, Algrim, who had just emerged from the observatory, caught sight of Fenyx ascending into the sky on the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. His face beneath the mask was filled with utter astonishment.

He couldn't understand where such a massive dragon had suddenly come from, and then he realized a very serious problem.

He couldn't fly.

Although he had gained unparalleled strength through sacrifice, this power wasn't omnipotent. At the very least, it wouldn't grow wings out of nowhere to let him fly.

Seeing that Fenyx was heading toward the palace of Asgard, Algrim couldn't care less about anything else and prepared to give chase. However, Thor and Heimdall didn't give him the chance.

Even though Fenyx had already gone to intercept the ships, Thor was still very worried. Looking at Heimdall beside him, he said, "Go activate the palace's defenses first. Leave this place to me!"

"Are you sure you can handle him alone?"

Looking at Algrim in front of them, Heimdall asked warily. There were many spaceships flying toward the palace, and he understood that it would likely be difficult for Fenyx to stop them all by himself.

"Of course!"

Thor replied with a smile. Gripping his hammer, he charged forward. Having spared with Fenyx so many times, he had long since learned how to fight without throwing his hammer.

Seeing this, Heimdall said no more. Holding his sword, he rushed back into the observatory, preparing to activate the palace's energy shield.

Algrim was already infuriated by Fenyx's departure. Seeing Thor charging at him with a hammer, he immediately wanted to kill him to vent his rage.

An intense battle erupted.

Thor suddenly felt a bit glad that he had spent the recent period sparring with Fenyx. At the very least, through those bouts, he had learned two very important skills.

Stalling and enduring.

Relying on these two skills, Thor successfully held out despite the massive disparity in strength, lasting until Heimdall returned to back him up after activating the shield.

However, even with Heimdall added to the mix, the two of them couldn't defeat Algrim; they could only maintain a stalemate at best.

But Algrim didn't want to drag things out like this. His goal was to reclaim the Aether inside Fenyx's body, not to waste time here.

Therefore, he stopped fighting Thor and Heimdall, finding an opportunity to leap onto a passing spaceship to go search for Fenyx.

Thor could use Mjolnir to fly, so he hastily gave chase. Heimdall, however, faced the serious issue of not being able to fly. Moreover, he still had to guard the Bifrost, so it was impossible for him to pursue.

On the other side, Fenyx was riding the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, intercepting the spaceships.

Because of his intervention, no riot had broken out in the Asgardian dungeons, and Heimdall had activated the palace's energy shield in time. As a result, the spaceships were blocked outside the palace.

Riding the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Fenyx commanded it to attack every Dark Elf spaceship it encountered.

Even though the Dark Elves' technology was highly advanced, it couldn't withstand the sharp claws and fangs of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Basically, a single swipe of its claws could destroy a spaceship.

Even on the rare occasion a claw missed, Fenyx would follow up with a finishing blow from the side.

He intended to wipe out the Dark Elf race entirely, so he didn't hold back in the slightest.

Malekith, sitting inside his flagship, also noticed Fenyx. Although he was surprised by when Asgard had acquired such a fierce beast, he ignored Fenyx because he was in a hurry to locate the Aether.

However, when he checked the specific location of the Aether, he realized something was strange.

Right at that moment, a message from Algrim, who had boarded a ship, came through.

"The Aether is not in the Asgardian palace. It is inside the person riding the white dragon!"

Hearing this, Malekith instantly abandoned the invasion of the palace. Through the spaceship's screen, his gaze locked tightly onto the massive Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Fenyx on its back.
