KEIFER POV
This girl just pinned me to the wall.
Me.
Pinned.
By her.
For a second, my brain didn't even process what was happening.
I was too frozen to move, too stunned to breathe, too shocked to even lift my hands.
Because she wasn't just kissing me.
She was claiming me.
Her hands on my chest.
Her body pressed against mine.
Her mouth on mine like she'd finally snapped and decided she wasn't running anymore.
And I swear—
my heart stopped.
Jay kissing me was already enough to short‑circuit every functioning part of my brain.
But Jay kissing me like that?
Hard.
Fierce.
Unapologetic.
Like she wanted to erase every trace of doubt, every girl who ever looked at me, every stupid thing I said.
I didn't even realize my back hit the wall until I felt the cold surface behind me.
Her lips moved against mine again, and something inside me just—
broke.
In the best way.
My hands finally reacted, gripping her waist like I needed her to stay right there, like letting go wasn't an option.
She kept kissing me, not giving me a second to breathe, not letting me take control.
And God…
I didn't want to.
For once, I didn't want to lead. I wanted to follow her.
And follow her I did.
She captured my lower lip between hers, sucking gently, and a guttural sound I couldn't hold back rumbled from my chest into her mouth. My lips parted instinctively, an invitation she didn't hesitate to accept. Her tongue swept in, exploring, claiming, tasting every corner of my mouth. She tasted like mint and something uniquely, intoxicatingly Jay. She tasted like she was already mine.
Then, just as suddenly as she'd started, she pulled back, leaving me breathless and dazed. My hands were still anchored to her, though they'd drifted from her waist to the sharp curve of her hips. Can you blame me? She looked at me with those dark, determined eyes, her fingers already working on the buttons of my shirt. I caught her wrists, my own breath coming in ragged bursts.
"You sure?" I managed to ask, my voice rougher than I intended.
She didn't answer with words. Instead, she leaned in and silenced any further questions with another searing kiss, her hands deftly resuming their task. One by one, the buttons gave way until the fabric hung open. She pushed it off my shoulders, the cool air of the music room hitting my skin for a split second before she tossed the shirt somewhere into the shadows. I didn't care where it landed.
Her lips left mine, blazing a trail of fire down my jaw. She nipped at the sensitive skin just below my ear, then moved lower, her mouth hot and wet against the pulse point in my neck. I tilted my head back, giving her better access as she worked her way to my collarbone, sucking and biting until I knew she was leaving her mark. Each hickey was a brand, a silent declaration that I was hers. My fingers tightened on her hips, pulling her flush against me as the last of my control shattered completely.
I couldn't take it anymore. The surrender was over. With a low growl, I hooked my hands under her thighs and lifted her, her legs wrapping instinctively around my waist. The shift was immediate, the power dynamic snapping back to me as I took control of the kiss, pouring all the frustration and need she'd built in me into it. I didn't break the kiss as I carried her across the room, setting her down on the polished wood of the grand piano. The keys jangled out a discordant protest beneath us, a sound that was immediately swallowed by our heavy breathing.
My fingers found the hem of her polo shirt and I yanked it over her head, tossing it to join my own forgotten shirt. Now she was in front of me, exposed in just her bra and that skirt, and the sight of her nearly undid me. I leaned down, my mouth finding the sensitive skin of her jaw, then her neck, leaving a trail of fire in my wake. I kissed across her shoulder, damn it, anything that was exposed to me, I tasted. Her head fell back, a soft gasp escaping her lips before she started moaning my name.
"Keifer..." she breathed out, the sound like a prayer.
"I'm here," I rasped against her skin, my mouth moving lower to kiss the swell of her breast, right over the fabric of her bra. Her back arched, pressing herself against me, and I knew there was no going back. Not now. Not ever.
Just as we were about to go any farther—
BANG.
The music room door shook like someone was trying to kick it down.
"JAY‑JAY! OPEN THIS DOOR!" Aries yelled.
We both froze.
Jay whispered, "Shit."
I kissed her.
She shoved me back, eyes wide. "Keifer! Asshole, Aries is outside!"
I kissed her again anyway — quick, stubborn, because stopping now felt impossible.
"Then stop using profanities," I murmured against her lips, "and stop being so damn… distracting."
Her glare almost killed me.
"JASPER JEAN MARIANO!" Aries roared.
"IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR, I SWEAR I WILL BREAK IT AND PERSONALLY KILL THAT WATSON!"
Stupid horoscope.
He ruined everything and now he was threatening me like I was the problem.
"Fine," I muttered, pulling away and trying to find my shirt.
I spotted it on the floor, grabbed it, and pulled it on quickly.
Jay was still searching for hers, muttering under her breath.
I saw it draped over the piano bench.
I picked it up, walked over to her, and before handing it over, I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on her cleavage
"Here," I said quietly.
She swallowed, nodded, and slipped her shirt back on.
Outside, Aries banged the door again.
"JAY‑JAY! I'M COUNTING TO THREE!"
Jay groaned.
I sighed.
And together, we braced ourselves for the chaos waiting on the other side of that door.
"MARK KEIFER WATSON, I SWEAR IF YOU DID SOMETHING TO MY SISTER I WILL KILL YOU!"
I sighed. "Your brother is loud."
Jay snorted under her breath.
I reached for the doorknob, fully expecting Aries to be standing there with steam coming out of his ears.
But the second I opened it—
THUD.
Aries fell straight into the room.
Face‑first.
Arms sprawled.
Like he had been mid‑charge, ready to break the door down with his entire body weight.
I froze.
Then I burst out laughing.
A full, uncontrollable, I‑might‑die laugh.
Jay slapped a hand over her mouth, her face turning bright red as she tried not to laugh too.
Aries pushed himself up, hair a mess, eyes wild, looking like a furious cat that just fell off a table.
He pointed at me with pure betrayal.
"You opened it too fast!"
I laughed harder.
Jay lost it too, her laugh finally escaping.
Aries glared at both of us like we were the villains in his tragic anime arc.
"You think this is funny?" Aries snapped.
"Yes," I said immediately.
His eye twitched.
"What were you doing?" he demanded. "Why did it take you this long to open the door?"
"Fucking horoscope," I muttered under my breath.
Aries heard it.
Of course he did.
He stepped forward, fist already rising like he was about to send me to the afterlife.
"Aries, stop!" Jay jumped between us, hands on his chest.
"Move," Aries growled, trying to push past her. "Let me give him a hard punch. He hasn't had one in a long time."
I shrugged. "Aries, you disturbed me. I was in the middle of something important."
I know it pissed him off
Both of them snapped their heads toward me.
"Shut up, asshole!" Jay yelled, still holding Aries back.
I smiled.
And kissed her.
Right in front of him.
She gasped and shoved me, but it was too late — Aries saw everything.
"Profanity," I told her with a smirk.
Aries' jaw dropped. "JAY—WHY ARE THERE MARKS ON HIS JAW?"
Jay froze.
Completely.
Her eyes widened like she'd just been caught stealing from a church.
"Because…" she started, voice cracking.
Aries leaned in, suspicious. "Because what?"
Jay swallowed.
I tilted my head, smirked, and said:
"Because she got jealous."
"Isn't it obvious? She bit me," I said.
Jay turned red.
Like tomato‑red.
Like I‑want‑to‑die red.
Aries' eyes widened. "Jay, there are marks on your neck too."
Jay froze.
I didn't even get a chance to breathe before—
BAM.
His fist connected with my jaw so hard my vision glitched.
"FUCKING ASSHOLE!" Aries yelled.
"What did you do to my sister?!"
I staggered back, holding my jaw, trying to process the fact that this man just punched me like he was auditioning for a boxing movie.
Before I could even open my mouth, Jay rushed to me and grabbed my arm, pulling me upright.
"Aries, he did—" she pointed at me, glaring, "—he started it!"
I stared at her.
HER.
Throwing ME under the bus.
Aries blinked. "He started WHAT?"
Jay panicked. "Uh—um—he—he—"
I raised an eyebrow at her.
She glared at me like this is your fault.
Aries looked between us, suspicious, furious, and confused all at once.
"What exactly did he start?" he demanded.
Jay opened her mouth.
Nothing came out.
I smirked.
This was about to get good.
Then Jay suddenly burst into full dramatic tears.
The Oscar‑winning, my‑life‑is-over, someone‑play-the-violin kind.
Aries panicked instantly.
"Okay, okay—stop crying! Nobody died!" he said, hands up like he was defusing a bomb.
I was… amused.
She really played the crying card on him.
And it worked like magic.
No wonder her grandparents spoiled her rotten.
She weaponizes tears like a professional.
Aries finally calmed down and turned to me, eyes cold.
"If I see her have marks again," he said slowly, "I will personally make you a new coffin."
I nodded.
Reasonable threat.
"You—let's go home," he said, pointing at Jay.
Jay nodded and started walking.
I followed them, because obviously.
I grabbed her hand.
She looked at me, eyes still a little watery.
"I totally started it," I whispered.
She smiled. "Sorry. I wanted to live."
"What about me?" I asked.
Before she could answer—
"Jay, let's go!" Aries barked.
Stupid horoscope.
Never giving me time to talk to my wife.
I was absolutely going to demand kisses later for throwing me under the bus.
But fine. I'd collect interest.
"Bye, wifey," I said, kissing her temple… then her cheek… then her nose… and finally her lips.
Aries exploded.
"Kiss my sister one more time in front of me and I will kill you!"
I smirked.
And kissed her again.
Right on the lips.
Aries stormed toward me like a bull.
Jay yanked back and shoved me away.
"Bye," she said quickly. "Aries, let's go."
I waved at him.
"Take good care of my wife, brother‑in‑law."
Aries turned purple.
"YOU—YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! MY SISTER IS NOT YOUR WIFE AND I AM DEFINITELY NOT YOUR BROTHER‑IN‑LAW!"
Jay ignored him completely and walked to the car.
"I'm driving today," she announced, opening the driver's door.
"NO," me and Aries said at the same time.
After how she drove to that mansion?
Absolutely not.
"I'm not giving my car to you," Aries said, horrified.
Jay rolled her eyes. "I'm driving."
Aries shook his head violently. "Over my dead body."
Honestly?
I agreed with him for once.
She rolled her eyes and sat in the back seat
I went to my car

JAY-JAY POV
That Ella was in the car, sitting in the back like she owned the place.
"Jay, I heard you and Keifer were in the music room alone," she said, voice full of fake innocence.
"Yeah, so?" I replied, staring out the window.
Aries scoffed. "You little troublemaker. I will tell Kuya on you."
Stupid horoscope.
He disturbed us, threatened us, and now he wanted to snitch?
I was having fun, honestly.
But I also wanted to live, so I did the only thing I could think of.
"Aries, please don't tell Kuya. I'll give you some money."
He turned around slowly. "You're bribing me now?"
"Fine," I said, defeated. "I'll give you whatever you want."
He didn't even hesitate.
"You're buying me food for the rest of the year."
"Deal," I said immediately.
Ella burst out laughing.
I glared at her through the mirror.
Keep laughing. I hope you choke on your laugh.
She kept giggling, wiping tears from her eyes like this was the funniest thing she'd ever witnessed.
Aries smirked, satisfied with his victory.
Meanwhile, I was sitting there, broke, betrayed, and praying Kuya never found out I almost died in the music room because of Keifer Watson.
And Keifer?
He wasn't even in the car.
Lucky bastard.
