Chapter 4 - Fight X Over

It seemed his attack was dodged, yet Hisoka was completely unconcerned about this. Instead, he began to think about another, more crucial matter.

Originally, he had thought Archer was just an ordinary person with decent willpower. There were no traces of having practiced Nen on the boy's body, and he had engaged him with a playful mindset.

But he never expected the other party to be strong. This was the second person who could make him this excited in this Hunter Exam.

"I really want to... I really want to... I really want to kill you right now" Hisoka said after that he suddenly vanished from his original position and attacked Archer.

This time, Hisoka didn't use playing cards but chose hand-to-hand combat, he punched countless blurry fists towards Archer.

Relying on his agile movement and force-deflecting techniques, Archer continuously blocked Hisoka's stormy onslaught, all while constantly calculating the other's strength during the fight.

It seemed the opponent wasn't using a Nen Ability; otherwise, it would have been impossible for him to deflect the power in those fists. Without using Nen his strength should be 80% of Hisoka.

It seems his physical strength had already reached the level of strong nen users as long as he don't encounter any top level nen users he can go around the world.

However, this was just a pure comparison of Physical Strength. A battle between Nen Users wasn't just about strength; mastery of Nen could also enhance a Nen User's physical combat strength.

While thinking, the two had already exchanged hundreds of blows. Both had sustained some minor injuries, but such superficial wounds were practically negligible.

Hisoka deliberately stopped and backed away from Archer. Looking at Archer, who was fighting on equal terms with him while he wasn't using Nen, his voice trembled with excitement.

"I really didn't expect you to be hiding your strength all along. When you were hiding in the crowd just now, I almost missed such an incredibly delicious fruit like you~"

Archer took a small step back. He was well aware of Hisoka's perversion; if it weren't absolutely necessary, he would never have exposed his strength in front of him.

"Let's end this fight here. The second phase of the Hunter Exam is about to start; there's no need to waste time here," Archer said.

However, Hisoka had no intention of stopping. With a flick of his right hand, he produced three playing cards out of nowhere and threw them toward Archer.

The three cards were incredibly powerful. Archer didn't dare catch them with his hands; instead, he flickered and dodged the attack.

At the same time, Hisoka dug the tip of his shoe into the dirt and kicked up a massive cloud of dust toward Archer.

The dust completely obscured Archer vision. He immediately tried to lock onto Hisoka's position.

Archer detected playing cards coming from all directions towards him at fast speed.

Playing cards surrounded him like raindrops, their sharp edges stabbing toward his body like blades.

Archer gaze hardened. His feet turned into afterimages as he stomped the ground dozens of times in an instant. Then, his body blurred and vanished, reappearing outside the smoke a moment later.

The rapid movement technique he just used was Shave, one of the Rokushiki martial art technique. It used a special exertion technique to stomp the ground dozens of times in succession, launching oneself toward a target location like a cannonball.

The Rokushiki placed high demands on the user's body. If physical fitness wasn't up to par, it was very easy to injure oneself while performing the moves. Currently, his body didn't support frequent use of the Six Powers; he wouldn't have used this move if he hadn't been backed into a corner.

He turned to look back into the dust. As a breeze blew and the dust gradually cleared, Hisoka stood amidst a pile of playing cards, his gaze fixed heatedly on Archer.

The first wave of cards had just been a feint. The second wave of assault from his actual body was the real killing move; as soon as the opponent started dodging, he would have lunged into Archer's face to kill him.

But the other party had done something to escape his attack range at a very fast speed. He hadn't even seen such speed from Illumi, the eldest son of the world-renowned Zoldyck Family.

Moreover, there were no traces of Nen being used, meaning it was pure martial art technique. To be able to hone a martial art to a speed even his attack couldn't catch up with Archer had given him too many surprises. This delicious fruit was simply magnificent!

At this point, he couldn't care less about the Hunter Exam. A mere Hunter license how could such a trivial thing compare to a delicious fruit like Archer.

A terrifying killing intent radiated from Hisoka. The world seemed to change color abruptly, and the air became heavy and bloody.

Seeing this, Archer felt very cold as if he was standing on ice glacier without any clothes. This was his first time seeing the Nen. This spiritual pressure would likely shatter the willpower of anyone without professional training instantly.

After getting a preliminary feel of the Nen, he felt that he needs to learn nen otherwise even if he has good physical strength he will die at the hand of a nen user.

His current body had been developed almost to its limit. he could barely manage against a Nen User.

But facing a strong nen master among humans like Hisoka, he would definitely be unable to defeat him.

Just as the momentum of both sides reached its peak, Hisoka suddenly withdrew all his aura and halted his fighting intent.

Seeing this, a look of confusion appeared on Archer face. What was wrong with this Hisoka, 10 seconds ago he was releasing nen as if he will kill me.

However, he still didn't lower his guard. Transmuter Nen Users like Hisoka were full of tricks; one had to be careful not to fall into their schemes.

Hisoka pulled back his lecherous expression and returned to his calm and collected demeanor, saying, "It seems you haven't mastered Nen yet."

Archer didn't respond. Hisoka continued on his own, "It would be such a pity to kill you now. Master Nen as soon as possible and grow stronger with all your might." After saying that, he walked away.

Only after the other party had completely vanished from his perception did Archer breathed a slight sigh of relief.

He had finally managed to brush the guy off, but there would surely be plenty of trouble ahead. He need to learn nen otherwise if someone as strong as hisoka targeted him he might die.

After sending away Hisoka, he turned his gaze toward the nearby bushes and said "Come out, I noticed you a long time ago."
