Chapter 229 - Isamu's Power

Abel looked at Diodora in the sky and said, "Nothing is impossible. You are my stepping stone… no, calling you a stepping stone would be an insult to stepping stones. Diodora, are you ready to die?"

"Charge, all of you, kill him! He is a blood relative of Beelzebub, a Campione! Kill him and you will be famous throughout the world!"

The devils present all became red-eyed.

"Everyone, kill him!"

The Old Satan Faction members charged towards Abel one by one.

Abel smiled. "Everyone, let the war begin."

Saeko, with a fanatical smile on her face, was the first to charge out.

Closely following were Kanae, Erica, and Liliana.

Miko and Lucretia floated in the air, unleashing magic.

Abel's lips curved upwards at this, then he turned his head and said, "Hana."

"Understood."

"By my life, shared with all, until my life is exhausted, then it shall end."

"Life Share!"

The golden light on her body split into nine, landing on Saeko and the others.

"Oh, emblem of the Life Goddess, protect me, let this emblem transform into the strongest shield of life. Protect my life. In the name of the Life Goddess, I declare this to be the embrace of the Life Goddess."

A white light flashed from the emblem on Hana's chest. A white shield enveloped her, and the white light, following her life energy, also enveloped the others in a layer of white shield.

After doing all this, Hana sat on the ground. She laid out a gourmet tablecloth and began to eat frantically.

Abel looked at the people fighting in front of him and smiled. "Everyone, this battle is up to you. Remember, there's no backup, and I won't make a move, though I will apply some buffs for you."

"Isamu!"

A four-eared white sheep, clad in armor, with a large drum in front of him and nine command flags hanging behind him, appeared.

"My Lord." Isamu cupped his fists towards Abel.

"Isamu, begin. Buff our side."

"Understood."

Receiving the order, Isamu stood in front of Abel, holding a light purple command flag from his back.

"This is the Speed Command Flag."

As he spoke, the purple flag was plunged into the ground, and a purple glow instantly spread outwards from the flag's center.

The marked allies glowed with a faint purple light. Saeko and the others felt their bodies lighten, and their movements became more agile.

Immediately after, Isamu drew out another blue command flag.

"This is the Defense Command Flag."

The blue command flag was plunged into the ground, and a blue light rapidly spread. In an instant, a layer of blue shield appeared on Saeko and the others, as if an armor had been plated onto them.

Saeko swiftly moved through the air, allowing the magic attacks of the Old Satan Faction soldiers to strike her body. Blue and silver light flickered on her body, the magic attacks only caused ripples and inflicted no damage whatsoever.

She held a crimson katana in her hand, her face flushed. With each swing of her blade, she reaped the lives of the Old Satan Faction soldiers.

Kanae, Erica, and Liliana were the same. They also weaved through the Old Satan Faction in the sky, harvesting lives.

At this sight, Diodora's expression turned ugly. He muttered to himself, "No... impossible, why are Abel's subordinates so strong?"

Soon, he shouted, "Take out that goat and the eating bitch for me! Quick!"

The support must be eliminated. Otherwise, he really wouldn't survive.

Receiving the order, a portion of the Old Satan Faction soldiers charged towards Hana and Isamu on the ground.

Just as they arrived, Shizuka appeared quickly. She clenched her fist, then swung it, and the soldiers in front of her were sent flying, crashing into the mountain wall.

Then she clenched her fist and said, "Sorry, this road is blocked. I'll be guarding it."

Mitsuri watched her with an admiring gaze: "Shizuka-nee, you're so cool. I need to work harder too!."

Then she charged into the crowd, beginning to tear apart the Old Satan Faction soldiers with her bare hands.

Isamu drew out a yellow command flag. "This is the Strength Command Flag."

Yellow light burst forth like lightning, and friendly members enveloped by the light received a significant boost in strength.

Feeling the increase in strength, Shizuka stretched her shoulders, smiling. "Now for a passionate battle."

Saying that, she also charged forward.

As Isamu successively plunged the remaining six command flags into the ground, various lights intertwined for a time. Saeko and the others gained six more buffs.

Having done all this, Isamu stood before the war drum, holding a drumstick.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Fearless courage, the enemy's dread!"

As the drum sounds began, Saeko and the others exuded a fearless belief, and at the same time, accompanied by the drum sounds, those Old Satan Faction Demons lost their former courage.

Diodora felt a bit timid at this sight. These ordinary Old Satan Faction soldiers couldn't handle this.

That's right! He still had fifteen subordinates. They were in the great hall.

Diodora looked at Abel, pondering how to isolate him.

Under Abel's gaze, Diodora slipped away, heading towards the palace above.

Escape?

No, he must be trying to lure me over.

Abel's lips curved into a cold sneer. Since that was the case, he would grant his wish.

"I'll leave this place to you all."

With that, Abel walked towards the temple on the sky island.

In the sky, Saeko and the others, empowered by various buffs, fought with increasing ferocity. Blood rained down, and bodies fell to the ground, then merged into Abel's Undead Legion.

On the ground, Shizuka and Mitsuri likewise slaughtered the Old Satan Faction soldiers, leaving no one behind.

Soon, Abel arrived at the Sky Island Temple. What greeted his eyes were fifteen women in cloaks.

They were all nuns and saints, individuals whose bodies and minds had been toyed with. And Diodora stood behind them.

He looked at Abel and laughed maniacally.

"Hahahaha, Abel, I knew you would come after me! Abel, my kin, come on, the game begins now. If you die, you're truly dead. As long as I kill you, and then forcibly take Asia, she'll be mine. Just thinking about NTRing you makes me so excited."

Abel crossed his arms, coldly looking at the expressive Diodora. "Diodora, you think you can defeat me with them?"

"Of course not, so I need them to buy time. Moreover, these fifteen are all subordinates I carefully selected. Every one of them is a saintess or nun from the Church, you know."

"I just need to stall and you won't be able to escape today."

As soon as his voice fell, the fifteen subordinates simultaneously charged towards Abel.

Abel's lips curled into a mocking smile.

A dark-skinned woman rushed out from behind him, her figure flashing as she appeared before one of the subordinates, throwing a punch.

The sudden turn of events caught that subordinate off guard, and she was sent flying by the punch, crashing into the wall and spitting out a mouthful of blood. A dark green aura stained her body, and her life force was rapidly disappearing.

"Who are you!"

The startled Diodora roared, and when he clearly saw the newcomer's face, he looked as if he had seen a ghost.

"Katerea Leviathan!?"

"Didn't you die!"

Indeed, the one before him was Katerea, who had been killed during the Three Faction Conference.

Her body had been incorporated into Abel's Undead Legion. Under the love and guidance of those undead, she had wholeheartedly dedicated her soul to Abel.

"Hahaha, you mean her?" Abel laughed and walked over to Katerea, pinching her face.

The cool touch was like a corpse, but there was no strange odor from her body, and her skin still felt as it did when she was alive.

Abel looked at Diodora and said, "Of course she's dead, but I've played with her soul and kept her by my side forever."

Diodora's eyes widened, his face filled with disbelief. "This is impossible! How did you do it?!"

To be able to keep a soul from being taken by those from the underworld, just how strong was the person in front of him?

However, Diodora quickly composed himself. He possessed the power of Ophis, how could he possibly lose to the person in front of him?

"Everyone, attack him! Kill him, kill this guy!"

Hearing Diodora's command, his subordinates showed fear on their faces, but they still braced themselves and charged towards Abel.

Abel's lips curved upwards and he made no move.

Katerea moved, protecting Abel with icy eyes and an aura of death emanating from her.

"Go, Katerea."

As soon as he spoke, she moved, weaving among Diodora's subordinates, each strike carrying sharp power. With every move, a peerage member was sent flying.

Before long, most of the peerage lay on the ground, incapacitated.
