Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Since I'm Already Here

"I'm so sorry for causing you trouble!"

Ending the long lecture session, Legend walked out of the President's secretary's office.

Thanks to Ms. Hayakawa, she had spent a long lunch break there.

Truly the Green Demon! Thinking about what just happened, the girl shuddered.

Checking the time, there was still a tiny bit of leeway left before the lunch break was over.

I'm hungry, time to eat!

Without hesitation, Legend made her decision—she had been looking forward to the Tracen Academy cafeteria for a long time.

Taking some time to reach the cafeteria, she scanned the room but didn't see the legendary Gray Mane glutton.

Makes sense, after all, she had arrived a bit late.

The girl didn't dwell on it too much and headed straight for the food counter... After eating and drinking her fill, Legend walked out of the cafeteria leisurely, picking her teeth.

"So, where to next?" Legend thought, bored.

Tracen Academy is less of an academy and more of a training center, it's just managed in the form of an academy.

As a result, the academy's management of courses is exceptionally loose. After all, they are cultivating Horse Girls, so the weight of academic classes isn't high. Therefore, the afternoon classes are all PE!

Or rather, free training.

But for the currently super-slacking Miss Legend, that was also break time.

"Still, since I'm already here, it would be a waste not to check out the training grounds."

Thinking this, Legend took a step forward... It's huge!

Legend marveled from the bottom of her heart.

Tracen truly lives up to its name as the Japan Horse Girl Central Academy; its scale is no joke.

The training area is much larger than the campus area. There's more than one track alone, and it has everything from gyms to swimming pools.

Students were training in groups of twos and threes, some were resting, and there were quite a few onlookers on the walkways—Horse Girls, trainers, and some with cameras who were likely reporters.

Legend observed her surroundings.

As she walked, she came across a rather special training ground.

How to put it? Specifically, there were many people, and the track looked more official?

Looking at this special training ground, Legend became interested. She walked to the spectator stands to look down at the view.

It seems to be a practice race?

"Oh oh, this touch, it's strong and powerful!" A sensation of being touched suddenly came from her leg.

Subconsciously, Legend used a Bucking Kick.

Accompanied by a sound effect that hurt just to hear, a figure flew three meters away.

"You, you, you, what are you doing!?" Coming back to her senses, Legend questioned excitedly.

The figure lay flat on the ground in a 'Flower of Hope' pose, giving no response.

He looks a bit familiar, Legend thought.

She walked over cautiously and asked, "Are you okay? Still alive?"

The figure didn't move.

Looks like I need to find a way to destroy the evidence of the crime. Legend suddenly calmed down.

Suddenly, the figure stood up with lightning speed and approached the girl.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Getting kicked every few days, I've already gotten used to it." The man looked up somewhat excitedly, revealing a face with a nosebleed still running.

Isn't this that Trainer-kun from the anime? I transmigrated into the anime. Legend, having entered Sage Mode, thought calmly.

"By the way, which Horse Girl are you? Name? Age? Where are you from? Weight?" The trainer pressed like a pervert.

However, Legend wasn't afraid, nor did she complain. On the contrary, her DNA was triggered.

"My name is Legend, age 16. I currently reside in the Ritto Dormitory **** room at Tracen Academy. Unmarried. I attend Tracen Central Academy and return to the dorm by 8 PM at the latest every day. I don't smoke, and I'm under the legal age for drinking. I go to bed at 11 PM sharp, then play on my phone for two hours before sleeping until I wake up naturally. I must have a glass of Coca-Cola before bed, then I sleep like a dead pig until dawn. Tired, deficient, and full of stress like a corporate slave, I welcome the next morning. Doctors say it's a medical miracle that I've lived this long."

"What are you talking about?" Trainer-kun was dazed.

"I want to explain that I am a Horse Girl who pursues inner peace at all times. So, Trainer-kun, is there something you need?"

Because she really couldn't remember the lines that followed, Legend chose to bring the topic back on track.

"Oh oh, this, uh, Miss Legend, is this your first time watching a practice race here?" The trainer snapped out of it and changed the subject.

"I'm a freshman who just reported yesterday, so it's definitely my first time. But, a practice race?" Classmate Legend followed up with a question.

"Yes, a practice race. It's a mock race for freshman Horse Girls, using official race rules, but the results won't be recorded. It not only helps accumulate racing experience but also allows you to showcase your abilities and performance. It's a very popular race for newcomers, and signing up is simple—just register with the administrator." The trainer explained plainly.

"Got it, like a placement test or something. But why are there so many people? Are there people who actually like taking tests?" Legend expressed her lack of understanding.

"Even though it's a practice race, it's still a race. It's not just about testing results; showing off your abilities can catch the eyes of trainers and maybe even get you better resources. Why wouldn't they? And for trainers, being able to discover good prospects is also a good thing. It's a win-win."

"Emmm, a matchmaking venue?" Legend quipped.

"..." What you said makes so much sense that I'm speechless.

"You're explaining this in such detail, do you want me to participate in this?" Miss Legend, still in Sage Mode, looked at the hesitating Trainer-kun and asked plainly, "Do you want to see my Izao Izao?"

"Of course, I want to see if you have the value to be recruited by me." The trainer didn't hide anything and said openly, "Although I'm very confident in my appraisal methods, I still want to see your ability!"

"Your confident look is really annoying. And why do you think I would join your team?"

"Do you believe in gravity? I think this is the guidance of fate!" The trainer said something seemingly irrelevant.

"Hou~" Legend raised an eyebrow noncommittally. "Fine, I'll just do it to pass the time."

Anyway, since I'm already here.
