Chapter 16 -- The Soul Heart Hall and The Past
After the cyclone of blood pool calmed down a figure emerged floating in the air
A tall figure , His eyes were black and deep like a galaxy , his black hair long and fluttering in the wind , his white robes unstained by anything and pressure around him made the surrounding cultivators shudder
Jing Xue and other girls had a faint blush as they saw this figure and the other cultivator felt dread as they saw this, this figure was none other Su Xiaoyao
Su Xiaoyao landed on the land as the water had all drained

As they entered in front of there eyes was gigantic palace with huge pillars supporting it and it was dark but blue lamps lit around the palace brightening it there were ghost like entities floating around but they didn't attack Su Xiaoyao and others as if they couldn't sense them and in front there were stairs that stretched up, others couldn't see what was up but Su Xiaoyao can see with his heavenly truth eyes, there was a throne.
As Su Xiaoyao and others stepped on the stair
Su Xiaoyao's vision flashed then he found himself in a familiar place
He looked around he saw a small boy thin like skeleton and wearing dirty torn clothes, the boy looked 7 years old and right now he was being beaten by some boys who looked around 10 or 11 they were kicking and punching him
The boy who looked weak was coughing and can be seen unable to fight back and others who were passing by just ignored
Su Xiaoyao looked at the boy in front him
Soon there was a shout behind Su Xiaoyao " STOP IT!" , when he heard this Su Xiaoyao's always calm eyes trembled and contracted, he knew this familiar yet distant voice that he wished countless times to hear.
Su Xiaoyao turned back and saw a beautiful middle aged woman walking towards him no towards the little boy, she was wearing a fabric that was a humble, coarse cotton—marked by the faint, jagged lines of careful mending at the cuffs—it could not stifle the innate elegance that radiated from her every step. The dress, washed so many times it had softened to the texture of a sigh, clung to her slender frame in a way that felt both weary and dignified. A thin, frayed sash of the same tired red was tied around her waist, emphasizing a graceful silhouette that seemed out of place in such a desolate setting.
As the wind caught the hem of the faded crimson skirts, it revealed feet clad in worn cloth shoes, yet she walked with the light, ethereal gait of someone who had once trodden on palace jade. Against the backdrop of the dusty street.
When Su Xiaoyao saw this woman his body trembled then stopped
The kids seeing someone coming and hearing the sound all scattered in different directions, Su Xiaoyao saw the woman walking towards him and passing through him, the woman couldn't see Su Xiaoyao.
The woman directly went towards the little boy and helped him stand up and dusted of the mud on him and asked "are you okay"
The little boy didn't open his mouth
"where is your house and where are your parents"
The little boy shook his head
The women then took the hand of the boy and said "You come with me", then she took the boy and then the place shifts
Infront of Su Xiaoyao a luxurious clothes store appeared,
The women and the little boy enter the store and walked towards kids section, when the employees and customers who were shopping saw the woman and the boy distain appeared in their face and started whispering were did these beggars come from but no one said anything to them.
Su Xiaoyao's hands silently clenched as he saw this scene
The woman then turned towards the little boy and said "Choose the dress you like"
The little boy didn't say anything but looked towards the clothes then towards the beautiful woman, his big black eyes blinking.
Seeing the boy not replying asked again and again finally seeing when she touched a dress the boys eyes brighten picked it and purchased then the scene shifts
Then Su Xiaoyao finds himself in a dilapidated small house surrounded by many dilapidated houses and huts, the woman baths the the little boy and dresses him up, the little boy now clean and dressed looked cute.
The boys body trembled and tears started falling from the boys eyes and hugged the women crying and sobbing.
The woman hugged the little boy
"You're safe now" she murmured
"I won't let anyone hurt you again"
Then Su Xiaoyao sees several scenes of the woman and the boy laughing, playing ,living and eating together, soon the little boy started opening up.
Then Su Xiaoyao found himself near the house , there he saw the little boy who now looked 10 years old surrounded by some men , who were tattooed ,they were holding a squirrel in their hands.
The little boy looked scared but said "give me xiaoxiao back you are hurting it"
The men all started laughing "Oh you want us to give it back"
"I heard there was a beautiful woman here, you tell me where she lives , our boss needs to talk to her"
The boy visibly panicked and said shuttering "I don't know anyone like that ,theres no one like that here"
The man noticed that the boy was lying and said "Even if you don't, someone will know if we give money"
The boy subconsciously shouted "no you can't"
The men chuckled and said "If you don't want us to then lit this squirrels tail" as he said that he took a match box and lit a stick.
The boy sacred and confused what to do, he was in a dilemma
Tears started falling from the boys hands as he took the stick and lit the squirrels tail, the man let the squirrel go
Su Xiaoyao subconsciously said "NO!" but no one heard him.
The squirrel whose tail was caught in fire started running here and there in pain, the trees nearby caught fire then the fire spread the houses the whole place started burning.
The men said to the man who told to lit the squirrel "See what did you, now where will we find he, the boss will beat us" and the men all ran away
The boy seeing that his house was in fire ran towards it, tears falling from his eyes like rain
Su Xiaoyao body was trembling and his hands were clenching so hard that his nails dug into his palm and blood started bleeding and dripping into the ground.
The boy ran but the house was fully caught in fire and when he went near he was thrown away by the flames blasts and hit a rock his head but he still crawled towards the house.
Soon Fire Fighters came and started extinguishing the flames.
The boy unable to hold on fainted.
then Su Xiaoyao finds himself in a hospital.
