Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

In this world, gods must have their divine power sealed when they descend to the lower world. Although gods can take the initiative to break through this seal and use their divine power, the seal typically remains in place. This is actually a form of protection for the gods, as it safeguards their true spirits. This allows the gods to be resurrected in heaven even if they die unexpectedly.

But now, Hestia couldn't feel the seal. This can only happen if she leaves the mortal world, as the seal is tied directly to that realm. So... if this is not the mortal world, could it be heaven? This place is so simple that it doesn't even look like heaven. Besides, there are no mortals in heaven!

Moreover, the gods of the lower world can easily see through people's lies. When Takumi answered her just now, Hestia was observing him carefully and found no signs of deception. That is why she believed Takumi's words so easily. What she didn't know was that Takumi had system protection, making her abilities ineffective against him. Otherwise, Takumi would not dare to lie about his knowledge of Hestia being obtained through the dimensional gate.

Takumi had already asked the system about this. Aside from physical damage, as long as he is unwilling, even the visitor's divine abilities will be ineffective against him.

"It's amazing, how is this done?" Hestia looked at the dimensional gate in amazement. She didn't see any clues, so she had to ask Takumi.

Takumi shrugged: "I don't know, I just own it."

Before Hestia could ask any more questions, he spoke first: "Since you are here as a guest, please come inside and sit for a while. I will get some water first."

"Okay." When Hestia saw this, she didn't refuse. Anyway, Takumi was here and wouldn't run away. As for whether Takumi would harm her? She was a god and her divine power was unlocked here; why would she be afraid?

Entering the house, Hestia discovered that the interior was much more impressive than the exterior suggested. The walls and floors were smooth and reflective, and the furniture was exquisite. Except for the hay mattress on the fire-kang and a pile of sawdust on the workbench nearby, which seemed a little out of place, the environment was much better than her old church.

After she looked around curiously, Takumi returned with water after washing up. He put the bucket next to the stove, took two cups, and filled them using a ladle.

"I'm sorry. The conditions are still very simple. We don't even have a pot to boil water, so we only have well water." As he said that, he invited Hestia to sit on the sofa.

"It doesn't matter. I came at the wrong time and bothered you." Hestia wasn't upset; instead, she became quite polite. She was unlike other gods; others might have simply ignored Takumi or worse. Once they knew about the dimensional gate, they would likely try to seize it. The personalities of those gods, driven mad by boredom, were hard to describe.

Hestia, the homebody god, was actually the most normal and gentle one in the eyes of ordinary people. It was Takumi's luck that Hestia arrived instead of the other gods of Orario.

"Don't worry about it; you are very welcome. This is a lonely place, so it is nice to have someone to chat with, even though I've only been here for a day." Takumi smiled and took a sip of water. It was indeed a different world, pure and natural. Even the well water tasted a little sweet.

"Are you the only one here? You've only been here for one day and you've already made all this?" Hestia drank the water without hesitation and expressed surprise. The furniture might have been brought, but what about the house? The field outside? The crops? All in one day?

"Yes, mainly because I have a unique ability." Takumi showed her his universal tool without hiding it. "Thanks to this, I could build a house and produce everything in a single day." Takumi had to admit he was showing off a little. Everything here was his own work and his pride. It was reasonable to show it to a guest.

"This is... an artifact?!" Hestia looked at the universal tool in Takumi's hand and felt its unique divinity. She was shocked again. After a while, she looked at Takumi and said, "Takumi, it seems you are no ordinary person if you possess an artifact."

"It's just luck, not nearly as impressive as you, Goddess Hestia. Your divine power is something mortals like us can only look up to."

"Hehe, I'm not that great." Hestia had been shocked by Takumi's power, so she felt happy when he praised her. Even if one isn't susceptible to flattery, kind words still feel good. Hestia's opinion of Takumi continued to improve.

The two chatted for a while; Hestia asked most of the questions, and Takumi answered what he could.

"In other words, you have just arrived and are settling here."

"Yes. I arrived here suddenly and have to survive."

"Then do you want to come to my world? It's not perfect, but the conditions are better than here, and you wouldn't have to work so hard to build everything. You can come with me, right?" Hestia suddenly invited him. She thought it would be interesting if Takumi joined her familia. But she didn't force it, even explaining that Orario wasn't perfect.

The labyrinth city is a paradise for the strong and a hell for the weak. Even though Hestia hadn't been on earth long and stayed with her friend Hephaestus, she knew of the darkness there. She didn't want Takumi to feel cheated later, so she was honest.

Takumi thought about it and shook his head: "No, at least not yet. You see the dimensional gate is here; others might arrive at any time. It wouldn't be good if I wasn't here. Let's talk about it later. When this place is developed, I will visit your world. I want to see the labyrinth city and the dungeon."

Hestia nodded understandingly and didn't push further.

Takumi smiled: "Actually, you can visit more often. You might meet people from other worlds next time. I plan to turn this place into a dimensional city, a gathering place for all worlds. I believe it will be very exciting."

Hestia grew excited at the thought of such a future: "That is a great goal! I believe it will be amazing. Just thinking about it is exciting! For that reason, I will definitely visit often!"

"Great. I'll be waiting for your arrival anytime."
