Chapter 12 - Opinion

-Elias Grayson:

I spent the rest of the day doing what I always do at university—classes, hallways, books, noise—but nothing about it felt normal with Sebastian walking beside me.

He didn't talk much. Just followed, hands in his pockets, shoulders tense. Every time we moved from one corridor to another, I could feel people staring. Not subtly. Not discreetly. Full-on turning their heads, slowing down, whispering. Girl, boys, alphas, betas, and omegas. Everyone. Eyes trailing after him like gravity had shifted toward his body.

I could smell it in the air—interest. Attraction. Curiosity. The kind you can't hide. Some of them smelled… aroused. I didn't blame them. He's huge, built like a tank, like he was made out of muscle and stubbornness. He looks like he could break a wall just by leaning on it. And he walks around like he's apologizing for taking up space he can't control.

Sebastian didn't seem to understand any of it.

He thought people were staring for one reason.

The scar.
