Chapter 107: Saves Me the Trouble
As those words echoed, the entire cavern fell silent.
Gyoro Gyoro, who had been giving a passionate speech with his right hand raised at a 45-degree angle, stopped talking. His large single eye narrowed.
"Oh? Who has an objection? Does someone disapprove of Lord Orochi holding the position of Monster King?"
"I do!"
The arrogant voice rang out again. This time, the monsters clearly heard that it came from the elevated seating area reserved for the Dragon-level Executives.
In his seat, a small, black, simply drawn humanoid figure stared disdainfully at Orochi.
"I joined this so-called Monster Association solely to team up and eliminate the Hero Association, not to have some 'Monster King' inexplicably placed above my head! I don't accept this guy!"
This small black monster was none other than the Dragon-level Executive, Black Sperm.
Beside Black Sperm, other Dragon-level monsters with equally powerful auras sat in their seats, looking down at Gyoro Gyoro and Monster King Orochi.
A massive monster, over ten meters tall with a muscular build, covered in black skin and possessing dozens of scarlet eyes on his head, sat upright in his seat.
Dragon-level Executive: Gouketsu.
To Black Sperm's right, a slender, yellow cat-like monster yawned lazily. His body seemed almost liquid, and his sharp claws glinted with cold light.
Dragon-level Executive: Nyan.
"Hm? What is it? What are you looking at? Are you mocking my face?!"
A furious roar erupted. Everyone looked over to see a grotesque, giant human with sparse hair standing up in the executive seating, his clothes almost bursting from his bulging muscles.
Dragon-level Executive: Fuhrer Ugly.
"How boring. Just a bunch of ants bowing before God, engaging in pointless squabbles all day."
Beside Fuhrer Ugly, a disheveled-looking ordinary human leaned lazily back in his chair. He had stubble on his chin, messy hair, and a tattered cape.
But no monster present dared to underestimate him. This man possessed terrifying destructive power, capable of destroying a city with a wave of his hand.
Dragon-level Executive: Homeless Emperor.
"Gurgle gurgle!"
Incomprehensible noises reached the monsters' ears. A creature resembling a giant dumpling with short limbs, no facial features, and only a massive mouth, rolled around occasionally in his executive seat.
Dragon-level Executive: Gums.
Although these six Dragon-level Executives were all doing different things, their pressure was simultaneously directed at the colossal entity in the center of the arena: Monster King Orochi.

As for why only six executives were present, the reason was simple.

Troublesome... I knew these unruly monsters wouldn't accept Monster King Orochi so easily... but I didn't expect such strong rejection...
The main mission now wasn't infighting, but resolving external conflicts together.
Thinking this, Gyoro Gyoro spoke, his sinister, feminine voice echoing through the cavern:
"Since everyone has such strong opinions... after we destroy the Hero Association, anyone who wants to become the Monster King can challenge Lord Orochi. The winner takes the throne!"
His meaning was clear: I don't care if you want to be king, but finish the war first. Fight for the title afterwards.
Black Sperm clearly understood the implied meaning. Although he snorted disdainfully, he sat back down.
Seeing even the instigator Black Sperm sit down, the other executives didn't press the issue and retracted their killing intent.
Seeing the budding civil war nipped in the bud, Gyoro Gyoro breathed a sigh of relief and resumed his speech:
"Now then... we will deploy our powerful Demon-level monsters to major cities. You may destroy wantonly, kill to your heart's content, and release your true nature! Do whatever you want!"
These words resonated deeply with the monsters. As beings with corrupted hearts, their nature was mostly violent and bloodthirsty, their inner darkness constantly expanding.
But due to the Hero Association's existence, any monster causing chaos in the city was easily surrounded and killed by heroes.
Now, Gyoro Gyoro was giving them a chance to vent their stress and kill freely!

He knew his subordinates were repressed, but he didn't expect them to be this repressed. Just one opportunity to go out and kill made them ecstatic.
But in the very next instant, a sudden change occurred!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!
The ceiling above began to tremble. Massive rocks fell, and cracks spread rapidly across the roof of the cavern, as if it were about to collapse.

"Earthquake? Or are the heroes attacking?"
"Are you kidding me?!"
Gyoro Gyoro and the Dragon-level Executives all looked up, staring at the crumbling ceiling with solemn shock.
These powerful beings sensed a terrifying presence about to appear.
CRASH!
With the shattering of the ceiling, a tall, golden-haired figure descended from the sky, floating steadily in mid-air. The King Engine, exploding like thunder, resonated through the entire cavern.
"Everyone's here? That saves me the trouble."
