(Third Person POV)
After spending some time talking with Tokio and Mei, Kai's family realized that they were also attending the gala to promote their store and get some investment. For now, they're talking in some seats inside the store.
"I hope we didn't take much of your time." Kaia commented concerned.
"No worries, it's not like I'm the only employee here or anything." Tokio reassured.
"Still, what a small world we live in, what are the odds that both of us will attend the gala?" Masaru.
"Coincidences like these are what make life so interesting, you never know what to expect." Tokio.
"I totally agree with that, by the way, I've been meaning to ask if your eyes are your quirk or something, sorry, I found them interesting." Kaia admitted.
"Oh? These are from my "Scope" quirk, it allows me to see far away with extreme precision, if people have a maximum of 20/20 vision, I have a 200/20 vision." Tokio explained.
"That's pretty neat, I guess your daughter also got your quirk." Masaru added.
"Yeah, did you know that studies reveal that at least 60% of the time the children between two people will inherit the quirk from the paternal side?" Tokio.

"That's interesting…speaking of family, where's the missus?" Masaru.
"Oh, she's the brains of this whole business, my technological prowess is nothing compared to hers so, she's the one that designs, brainstorms and creates the equipment here." Tokio proudly announced.
"Momma is the best at making babies, she puts 1000% of her in each and every single one of them!" Mei announced proudly.
"Woah, she must really love gadgets to do so much every single day." Kai.
"She does! When I grow up, I'll make my own company at least a hundred times bigger than this store and make hundreds and thousands of babies to sell around the world!" Mei.
"Is it me or do kids mature faster these days?" Kaia whispered to her husband.
Masaru just made a 50/50 hand sign as he shrugged.
"What about you two? If you need any equipment to facilitate the use of your quirks, just ask." Tokio.
"I can control any metal I touch so long as I make physical contact with it, from shape to weight and density. Though only the shape remains changed after I stop touching them, density and weight will revert back to normal." Masaru.
"I see, by the way you talk it seems like you have no issue controlling it, meaning that involuntary prevention gadgets aren't that useful." Tokio.
"I just create a small pocket space where I can put things." Kaia.
"Interesting, you haven't taken anything from here, have you?" Tokio joked that last part.
"Oh, it doesn't work like that, here, let me show you." Kaia stood up from her seat and walked to the nearest shelf.
She took a gauntlet-like gadget and tried to store it in her dimension, only for it not to move an inch.
"I can't store something I don't own; doctors say that even subconscious stealing wouldn't work." Kaia explained as she puts the gadget back in place.
"Hm…quirks with such specific limits are quite rare. But what a relief, if a villain had something like that, they'd be the greatest thief ever." Tokio.
"Right? I remember when I had to do all the registration forms for my quirk…so much paperwork." Kaia reminisced about those harsh days.
"And what about you Kai?" Mei asked.
"Oh, I'm quirkless." Kai nonchalantly responds.
...…
There was a small pause, Kai's family is still a bit worried about their son's social life when it comes to his absence of a quirk factor. They're not paranoid or anything but the mere thought really scares them.
"Quirkless…huh, at least 20% of the population is quirkless. Is there anything different or is it no quirk and that's it?" Tokio asked intrigued.
"Well, I don't think there's anything different, I do play and train a lot though." Kai.
"Train?" Mei.
"To become a hero!" Kai proudly announced.
Mei focused her gaze on him.
"I want to become the first quirkless hero in the whole world, but my real goal is to reach the top, number one hero in Japan." Kai.
Kaia and Masaru smiled at their son.
"Still, becoming a hero without a powerful quirk is quite difficult." Tokio commented.
"It doesn't matter. Whether it's hard or not I don't care about that, I'll do what I want to do and never step back." Kai exclaimed with a smile.
Masaru nodded at his son's words.
"That's amazing!" Mei exclaimed.
"Huh?" All three adults look at the pink-haired girl.
Mei smiled widely. "I've actually wanted to be a hero myself but with a quirk like mine I didn't think it'd be possible." Mei's smile falters a little before she smiles again.
"But hearing you talk about your dream like that…it's just…just…SO COOL!" Mei's eyes lit up brightly.
Kai was taken aback by the sudden shift in the girl but smiled.
"Thanks." Kai.
"I see it already, even if my aid won't be through battle, I'll find a way to support those around me." Mei got up from her chair as she raised her fist. "I have so many ideas now, I better start working now!" Mei dashed out of the place and went inside the store's Employee only section.
"Hehe…that daughter of mine, never a dull moment with her." Tokio also got up before looking at Kai.
"Thank you." He said to Kai.
"For what?" Kai asked confused.
"Mei's been struggling with all that hero dilemma for a while now, I had planned a very inspirational cliché speech for her, but your words felt more organic, thank you for inspiring her." Tokio thanked Kai.
Kai scratched the back of his head before smiling. "Thanks, it feels good to help people."
"I bet it does." Tokio commented before a thought crossed him over. "Hey, tell you what, if you need something just tell me, I'll be sure to help you out with whichever gadget you may need." Tokio.
"Oh, there's no need for that man." Masaru sheepishly tried to deny the offer.
"Nonsense, if your kid's going to become a hero he'll need a lot of help, besides, I'm starting to wonder just how he'll be as a hero." Tokio explained.
"Well…" Masaru looked at Kaia, who just nodded softly. "Ok, Kai is there anything you need?" Masaru accepted the offer.
"Swords." Kai answered immediately with stars in his eyes.
"Swords?" Tokio asked, unsure that what he heard was right.
"Kai has quite the interest in swordsmanship, he's been "self-learning" for a while now before we get some kenjutsu class for him." Masaru explained.
"Ok...not what I was expecting but no worry, do you need like a sword that shoots fire? Shocks people?" Tokio.
'Is it weird how normal this seems to me?' Kai thought for a moment before brushing off those thoughts.
"Just normal Katanas, but I want them extra durable, some heavier than standard and some lighter, but for now, just normal Katanas." Kai instructed.
Tokio hummed in his place as he thought of Kai's request. Katanas weren't a big deal to make at all, but for them to be heavier and or lighter without compromising the length and or shape was an entirely different matter.
'Miriam is going to be entertained with this one.' Tokio thought before looking at the family.
"Alrighty then! Don't you worry, even if it takes a bit long you can trust in our quality of our gadgets, here's my number." Tokio gave Masaru his phone number.
"I'll call you when they're done or ask for details." Tokio said before darting off to the employee area.
The family of three saw that their business at the store was over so, they decided to run off to the nearest entertainment venue.
The rest of the day continued without much happening, Kai won several games and prizes, ate a lot of food and even went to the zoo to pet some animals.
Overall, this day has been amazing for the family. Now, it's time to rest in order to enjoy the next morning.
"Ok, we only have one bed so we'll be sleeping together." Masaru commented as he finished taking a bath.
To his surprise, Kai had already prepared the entire living room into a makeshift room, he had his pillow fort in the sofa adorned with several blankets as he was ready to sleep with his Shirakumo plushie.
"Oh...I actually wanted to sleep here." Kai.
"Why?" Masaru.
"Mom sometimes makes you sleep in the couch, there must be something nice about sleeping here, right?" Kai commented.
Masaru coughs in his fist as he glance at Kaia, who just shrugs "innocently" before helping tug Kai in.
"Well, we were ready to share the bed with you son, but if you want to sleep here then no problem." Masaru.
"But do come to the room if you feel too lonely." Kaia added before entering the bathroom.
"You sure you want to sleep here?" Masaru confirmed.
"Yep. It'll be like a sleepover…but alone, kinda." Kai.
"Well, whatever makes you happy Kai, don't stay up late too long." Masaru commented as he went to the bedroom.
Kai accommodated himself in the couch as he focused on the TV.
'What a nice day, I made a friend, played a lot, learned a ton but I feel a bit stiffy, I guess training everyday has become more than a habit. Still, I wonder what this world's history will be, it kinda feel like a missed opportunity, considering that I'd know who to fight and who to help.'
'Well, there's not much helping it. I'll either know or not when the time comes, my only job now is to kick it back, relax, and wait for the next day of awesomeness to begin.' Kai thought as he continued watching TV.
Indeed, it should've been a wonderful day of leisure with no more issues...but what missed Kai's mind was that he had already encountered something's unusual before, that presence that was following his family throughout the beginning of the day.
Perhaps it was due to his childish mentality that he unexpectidly forgot about that until now, who would've thought?
Now, while he rested, enemies made their move in the shadows.
(With Ashborn)
Ashborn looked at his newly arrived crew, a man with a hulking stature of 3 meters tall with large arms wearing a punk rock-style outfit, including a bunch of chains around his waist for decoration.
Besides him stood a woman, 1'78 tall with grey hair that contrasted her young looks, she wears a more extravagant outfit of a fur coat with large black glasses and high heels that give her 0'20 meters of height.
Ashborn's eye twitched as he saw his companions before he innevitable had to pick them up.
"Why are you two wearing that?" Ashborn sarcastically replies.
"What? It's the I-Expo, you wouldn't want me to be dressed in rags for it, would you?" The woman argued.
"I just didn't felt comfortable in any other clothes." The tall man replied as he scratched his right arm.
"Great, cool, keep dragging all the attention, that's bound to NOT backfire." Ashborn complains as they make their way to the rented car.
"Oh dear don't exagerate, you love us. Almost as much as I love this fine Leopard fur~" The woman commented.
"Don't start Ryia, I'm in no mood for your teasing." Ashborn says irritated.
"What twisted your panties that badly?" The tall man asked.
"Just this dumb kid that's been a total pain, every time I had a clear shot he screws up somehow and all attention is directed to him, meaning that I could no longer steal the blueprints undetected." Ashborn explained.
"Hehe~ Skill issue boss." The tall man simply laughed.
"Screw off Norm, or I'll sell your snail collection." Ashborn threatened.
"Alright dear, let us prepare for the heist/manslaughter." Ryia commented with a smirk.
[Togami Asashimi, Villain Name: Asborn: Leader of a team made up of three villains.
Quirk: Shadow Call: Allows Ashborn to manipulates shadows at will and blend with them, note that a very distinct smell is emitted each time he merges with a shadow and he can only weaponized the shadows that are naturally made, which means either sunlight or moonlight but nothing coming from lamps, open flames, flashlights, etc.]
[Ryia Agakure, Villain Name: Crimson.
Quirk: Blood Control: Any drop of blood in an area od 30M around her can be controlled, transformed and changed at her will. She can only do that to the blood that's OUTSIDE someone's body, it also means that she needs visualization to command blood.]
[Eulisyus Mateo Reyes Rivalda, Villain Name: Norm.
Quirk: Carapaced Body: Norm's entire body is as durable as a tortoise's carapace and beyond, the more he eats the harder his body becomes, this effect is minimal and unnoticeable in the short-run but after years of a hefty diet of lots of meats, Norm's body is durable enough to put a dent in Titanium, note that this does not enhance his physical strength by much, just his sturdiness.]
The three villains went to their hotel and prepared themselves, they would strike this event and have a lot of fun while doing it.
(Meanwhile, on a plane)
A blonde bulky man was excitedly looking out of the window like a little kid excitedly.
Besides him, a green-haired thin man couldn't help but to sigh.
"Seriously Toshinori-san, the flight will arrive in around 5 hours." The thin man commented.
"I can't help it Sasaki! It's not just about meeting David after a long time, you'll be meeting him too!" Toshinori commented.
"Right, your "first"partner how could I forget?" Sasaki commented with some irritation and...jealousy?
Unfortunately for him, Toshinori was unaware of said venom and sarcasm. "HAHAHAHAHA!! That's the spirit! My two best friends and me, it'll be a blast!" He cheerfully commented.
At his friend's antics, Sasaki couldn't help but to sigh as let out a small chuckle before reading a pamphlet.
These two are Toshinori Yagi and Mirai Sasaki, the rising rookied of Japan's Hero Rankings as All-Might and Sir Nighteye.
And they're coming to I-Island for a visit.
