Love and Birth Ceremony:

Love Ritual: The couple floats high above in a nest of white feathers, threads of light, and warm glow.

Before uniting, they touch each other's foreheads and hearts and share a silent breath,

so that their lights may align.

Only then do they consummate their love—freely, lightly, and without possession.

Love Phrase: Common: "Your light carries me, and mine carries you."

Aeloric: "Luméra me portat, et mea te portat."

Birth Ritual: At the first sunrise, the child is born in the same floating nest.

The parents briefly hold the newborn up to the light—not as a sacrifice,

but as a silent act of remembrance.

Aeloric: "Lumén a'thal, vaeri selóm."

Marriage Ceremony:

which entwine around each other during the vows and then separate again.

The bond lasts only as long as both wish to maintain it.

Marriage Blessing: Common: "Freely bound, united in the light."

Aeloric: " In lumén et libertate, unum volatis."

Funeral Ceremony:

Mourning Ritual: The body is carried to a great height in a luminous coffin.

There, it is cremated while soft chants are sung.

The ashes are released to the wind – never to the earth,

for Aelorienne believe that the soul belongs above.

Common: "Your light rises homeward."

Aeloric: "Vaeri'lúm, ad caelum redi."
