Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Wanda’s Loyalty Increases Again

Inside the study.

Lynn sat quietly in his chair, rubbing his temples to clear his thoughts.

This had always been his habit.

Even in his previous life, he would repeatedly review everything in his mind, reinforcing his memory and organizing his priorities.

First priority: hide his identity as much as possible.

Until he had immunity against telepathy, he needed to lie low at all costs.

He carried far too many secrets.

A transmigrator.

A system holder.

Either one alone would be enough to attract endless pursuit.

If both were exposed—

There would be no end to the danger.

Second priority: Gotham City was nearby.

He frowned slightly.

Was it the real Gotham?

Or just another city with a similar name?

The Marvel Universe was already chaotic enough.

The DC world as a whole was even worse.

One wrong step, and you were dead.

Third priority: only absolute power guaranteed survival.

At present, with the System in his hands, Lynn finally had the capital to grow stronger.

But it was still far from enough.

This world contained far too many terrifying existences.

Against beings like the Ancient One or Odin alone—

He stood no chance.

And those were far from the strongest.

On the road to power and self-preservation,

he needed allies.

Wanda and Pietro could not be allowed to drift away.

One wielded the most ancient power in the universe—Chaos Magic.

The other moved faster than sound itself.

If properly trained, they would become his strongest support.

Fourth priority: within his limits, change the plot to earn System points.

As for favorability—

He would farm it whenever possible.

At the moment, it was the fastest and most reliable path to power.

As each point settled into place,

the tension between Lynn's brows gradually eased.

These were the matters that demanded attention right now.

Everything else could wait.

After confirming there were no omissions, he finally exhaled.

He snapped his fingers.

A pale-yellow flame the size of a fist appeared out of thin air, floating quietly before him.

This was his Mutant ability.

"My control over flames is still too shallow," Lynn said with a wry smile.

"Even Omega-level power has limits."

There were simply too few X-genes in his body at the moment.

He couldn't sustain his Mutant ability for long.

Recalling the contents of the X-Gene Training Method, Lynn slowly closed his eyes.

Ten minutes later—

His eyes snapped open, filled with disbelief.

A deep-yellow flame the size of a human head hovered above his palm.

The intense heat caused the temperature of the entire study to rise sharply.

"Such an ordinary name… yet such terrifying effectiveness."

In just ten minutes, the amount of X-gene in his body had multiplied several times over.

True, that was partly because his initial amount had been extremely low—

But it still proved how incredible the method truly was.

Downstairs, in the living room.

Mei was brimming with energy, vowing to cook a feast to conquer Lynn's stomach once and for all.

Meanwhile—

"Wanda. Pietro. Come upstairs."

Lynn's voice echoed from above.

The two siblings exchanged a glance before quickly heading upstairs.

"I called you here for something important," Lynn said solemnly.

Wanda and Pietro both sensed the seriousness in his tone.

"Do you want to become stronger?" Lynn asked.

"Yes!"

They answered in unison.

They had endured endless hardship just to reach New York.

Compared to someone like Iron Man, they were nothing more than ordinary people.

The possibility of revenge was practically nonexistent.

"Good."

Lynn nodded in satisfaction.

He took out a sheet of paper—

A handwritten copy of the X-Gene Training Method.

"Memorize every word."

A single method that could make someone stronger?

To Pietro, it sounded unbelievable.

He hesitated.

But Wanda trusted Lynn completely.

Without hesitation, she began memorizing it.

She adjusted her breathing, turned inward, and searched for her X-gene.

Half an hour later—

Wanda slowly opened her eyes.

A faint red energy flickered briefly before fading away.

She could clearly feel it.

Her aura had changed.

Lynn understood immediately—

After a few more training sessions, Wanda would likely awaken Chaos Magic properly.

Seeing this, Pietro no longer hesitated.

He began practicing as well.

"Tell no one about this," Lynn warned.

Both Wanda and Pietro nodded firmly.

Despite their age, they understood exactly how precious a method like this was.

And—

Something so precious—

Lynn had given it to them freely.
