Chapter 2 - SUDDENLY FORCED AND INTO AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE

Ken didn't care, without feeling guilty he just walked away leaving Grandma Riana and Alana, while Alana hurriedly said goodbye and left.

"Please forgive Ken, Alana," asked Grandma Riana.

"Yes, Grandma, but it's better for me to just get out of here. It's enough for Grandma to repay me by treating me like a special guest, thank you, Grandma," said Alana as she was about to leave in front of Grandma.

However, Riana's deft, gentle hands kept Alana in her house.

"Please don't leave here Alana, Grandma needs you," she said softly.

"No Grandma, thank you. I'll excuse myself." Alana said goodbye again while politely releasing Grandma Riana's hand.

Alana then left Grandma Riana's elite house, even though she didn't know where to stay, Alana was really confused, she intended to return to her hometown with the remaining money in her pocket. Yes, lucky she didn't keep all her money in her bag.

Alana walked back to the terminal bus, even though she knew the distance was still very far and her long legs were already struggling from exhaustion, but Alana tried to strengthen herself because she couldn't possibly linger in Jakarta aimlessly.

"Wait!" shouted a man which made Alana immediately turn to the source of the sound.

Alana was shocked when she found out that it was Ken who had been shouting at her.

"I've been shouting at you, is your hearing really not that good?" Ken grumbled irritably.

Alana seemed to sigh, trying to control her emotions, in her heart she really wanted to reply to Ken's harsh words. Alana didn't like being humiliated like that even though she wasn't a woman of high social status, but for her, rich and famous people like Ken shouldn't just call her names without feeling.

"If you're here just to look down on me, you'd better leave. I'm still strong enough to walk to the terminal," replied Alana angrily Of course Alana's answer made Ken flinch and become even more annoyed.

"Does this girl not know me? She's so arrogant," thought Ken.

Seeing that Ken was silent and did not immediately convey her meaning, Alana turned around and walked away from him, but Ken's hand was swift enough to stop the beautiful girl's steps. This made Alana's heart start beating very fast because she was nervous about being held by the hand of Ken, who she had idolized for a long time.

"What's your name? I don't know why I always like challenging girls like you," said Ken half-whispering in Alana's ear.

Alana couldn't answer because Ken's treatment actually made Alana's heart even more nervous, mixed with cold sweat which suddenly spread throughout her body, both happy and afraid of being treated like that by her idol.

"Come on, come with me now! Grandma Riana cried because you just left like that." Said Ken, who was grumbling again while pulling Alana who was still frozen in front of him to force her into his car.

Alana still couldn't say anything, she didn't expect to be treated in such a special way by the family of a superstar, very famous actor, she just obeyed Ken's orders to get into the Lamborghini car which Alana had only previously seen in films.

"Why are you suddenly unable to talk now? Take a drink first! I don't want to talk to myself like a crazy person," said Ken again, handing Alana a bottle of mineral water while they were on their way to Grandma Riana's house.

Alana just smiled as she accepted the mineral water from Ken's hand, her eyes couldn't take their eyes off of Ken's face, which she thought was more handsome than when she saw it on her television screen.

Alana then sipped the mineral water slowly, which for her felt so delicious because it was a gift from her idol, that she didn't feel like she could finish it straight away.

"Thank you... Kenn," said Alana, who was still nervous so her words stammered.

Ken just nodded casually while playing the song "Lily" by Alan Walker, his favorite singer.

"Do you know me?" Ken asked casually.

"Of course, who doesn't know you. "I even... really idolize you," Alana admitted, looking down and smiling shyly.

"Oh yeah? "Then forgive my behavior earlier," replied Ken feeling guilty.

Alana just nodded with a smile, but she immediately remembered that Ken had said that Grandma Riana cried because he left.

"Why is Grandma Riana crying?"

"She said is comfortable with you, she needs a friend. I wasn't always there for her," explained Ken.

"I'm sorry Ken," said Alana, this time feeling guilty.

"No, I made you leave, I'm sorry A... what's your name?"

"Alana."

Ken nodded while pronouncing Alana's name in her heart, it seemed he also felt a little comfortable with Alana, apart from Ken being amazed by her beauty, Ken considered Alana to have a good personality, it was natural that Grandma Riana also immediately loved her very much.

"I hope you can make Grandma's days even more colorful," said Ken again.

"What do you mean?" Alana asked, not understanding.

"She asked you to live with us and be her personal assistant."

"But... that's not my purpose in going to Jakarta, Ken," admitted Alana sadly.

"And then?"

"Actually, I went to Jakarta because my sister's friend offered me to become an artist, his name is Bima, owner of 'Famous Management'," explained Alana.

"Bima? Famous Management? "I've never heard of it, don't be easily fooled Alana, there are lots of people who claim to have artist management but in the end end up being models for adult magazines and negative things."

"Really?" asked Alana, who was so shocked and grateful because God was still good to her.

Ken nodded, then parked his car in his garage because they had arrived. Unexpectedly, Ken took Alana's hand and went in to meet her grandma. This made Alana shocked and excited again, even though she had been annoyed with Ken's attitude, now Alana's heart seemed to be sprinkled with beautiful flowers blooming, she was so happy. Moreover, Grandma Riana immediately hugged Alana with great affection as soon as she arrived at her room.

"Alana, please don't leave anymore, stay here with Grandma and Ken," said Grandma Riana softly.

Alana nodded then let go of Grandma Riana's hug.

"I know you're a good girl, Grandma can feel it and Grandma's gut feeling is never wrong, Grandma really wants you to marry Ken one day," admitted Grandma Riana bluntly in front of Alana and Ken.

Of course, this made Alana and Ken look at each other in shock, Alana also didn't know whether she felt lucky to have received such an offer from Grandma Riana because Alana had never thought about marriage at her current age, she actually still wanted to try to build her dream of becoming an artist, while Ken immediately changed to making a very annoyed face at the woman who had taken care of him since childhood.

"No, Grandma, I can't possibly marry her ever. I already have Viola," Ken flatly refused.
