Chapter 43 - Aren't You Afraid It'd Cost Your Life?

Ashrik quietly assessed the way Lucille's countenance changed again. Her eyes dimmed with uncertainty before they brightened in the next second, as if a new resolve had set ablaze within her.

Above, the sun rose slowly, aiming for the summit. Its dazzling rays bathed the entire area in a bright glow.

The wind picked up, causing the flowers, leaves and the tips of grass to dance wildly in nature. The breeze brushed against the two people, who were secluded by the outside, torn world.

Ashrik lifted one of his brows. "Thinking of another thing? Another question?"

Lucille exhaled a breath. She clenched her knees as her gaze shifted from the relic pieces to Ashrik. With a light movement, she nodded.

"Brother Ash, have you figured out how to end the apocalypse once you collect all fragments? Since it's activated by gravity power, surely it needs the same power to reset it, yes?"
