Chapter 65 - We're Not Terrible Kitchen Killers

Lucille's breathing finally steadied.

Her lashes trembled as the last traces of pain left her expression. Her ghastly pale face had also regained some color. Her hair, damp with sweat, was plastered on her forehead.

Ashrik stayed by her side, watching her wipe the remnants of tears from her face. He exhaled in relief upon sensing the stability of her core, now guarded by a shield again.

"Lucy, you need to rest," he said quietly. His voice was low and careful, as if afraid of pressuring her. "Didn't you say you wanna take a nap?"

Lucille blinked drowsily. She whispered, her tone revealing her exhaustion, "Yes. I should nap."

He reached for her shoulders, helping her up from the floor. Her eyes were half-opened, showing how much she yearned for sleep. Once she lay on the bed, he covered her with a blanket.

Ashrik whistled, calling softly, "Dobby, Ponyo, come here."
