Clementine put a hand over her chin.
"Doesn't he know we suspect him? I mean, if he's acting like an idiot, doesn't he know what we know?"
I shrugged.
"We killed a lot of nobles, and from the talk alone, he thinks of us as barbarians. I really doubt he suspects that we could figure him out. Though it doesn't matter, we'll call him out tonight."
She nodded, then glanced around.
Once she made sure there was no one there, she leaned in slightly and whispered:
"And the pigeons...?"
"Right. Listen closely."
The lore of the pigeons was only revealed in the end game, and since I finished the whole game, I knew exactly what they meant.
"There is a myth that a certain human family was cursed by the gods after committing several taboos."
The myth goes as follows:
"A curse swept over the human family and turned them all into feathery creatures, that would later come to be known as pigeons."
