"Have you prepared for the awakening ceremony, Eunuch Mu Yan of the Immortal Diligence Eunuch Palace?"
Mu Yan was in a large hall. In front of him there sat three people on a pedestal, watching him from above.
The one on the left had a book in front, he was the one that lead the awakening ceremony, his robe red. On the right was one with a brush and scroll, the recorder of the awakening, his robe also red.
Finally there was the one in the centre. His eyes closed, seemingly not paying any attention to the matter at hand. His robe was gold.
"Yes, I am prepared." Mu Yan answered with a bow, his expression cold as always.
The preparations they spoke about were merely two: know which Path he wishes to pursue, and to be prepared for disappointment in case he didn't awaken what he wished to.
"What is your path of choice?" the one on the left asked.
"I wish to become a Royal Eunuch."
