"Nix has one of the highest levels of clearance within the Empire's network. If he truly wants to locate you, it would take mere seconds—no more than that." He paused before continuing carefully. "Rory… you may not be able to avoid meeting him."
Nix's history within the Empire was notoriously tangled. His records were layered with sealed files, special permissions, and enough classified involvement to make even high-ranking officials wary.
If he had crossed half the galaxy to find her and was turned away outright, there was a real risk he would refuse to let go—and that persistence could escalate into something dangerous.
