"I came to tell you that I don't want to dissolve our match anymore."

The moment those words fell, Vincent, Yuel, and Jasper all turned sharp, dangerous gazes toward Paros.

Paros ignored them and focused on Rory. "I want to bond with you."

"No." Rory rejected him without the slightest hesitation.

"Why?" Paros hadn't expected her refusal. He frowned, clearly confused. "But last night, you clearly—"

Before he could finish, Rory cut him off. "What happened last night is not a reason for me to bond with you."

Just because Vincent and Jasper beat him half to death last night didn't mean he could use that as an excuse to cling to her.
