Rory followed Vincent into his room.
It was her first time entering it.
His bedroom was impeccably neat and simply furnished. Aside from the bathroom, there was a modest walk-in closet crafted from spatial stone.
But the largest space in his suite was the study.
Built entirely of spatial stone, it rose as high as a dozen floors. The ceiling displayed a complete star map of the interstellar empire. Bookshelves lined the walls, filled to the brim. Near the window stood an enormous desk covered with advanced equipment—devices Rory had never even seen before.
There were also detailed models of warships and weapons, and a smaller, carefully arranged reading corner.
On the eastern side, another even larger room made of spatial stone housed an entire arsenal.
Vincent took Rory's hand and led her to sit in the chair before his desk.
"Rory, sit here for a moment. I'm going to change. I'll be right back."
