Shouting with all his might, Lin Ye exploded with full force.
However, there was no impact, pain, or resistance.
Rather, he found himself in a strange place.
Beside and in front of him, there was no Zeus, the king of gods. There was no live broadcast screen, no gods gazing down on him, and no tower below him.
Just a white void, a crowd of screaming humans, and floating above them… a rabbit in a tuxedo munching on a carrot.
"Welcome back to Hell, monkeys," Usagi chirped. "You should count yourselves lucky to be here."
He continued. Regardless of the shocked and confused gazes of the humans below him, Usagi just kept talking and talking, its fluffy white ears and beady red eyes scanning the crowd with every munch of its carrot.
"Monkeys of planet Earth, as you can see, you are no more on planet Earth."
"The planet you once knew is gone, and your lives are now at the mercy of the gods."
"Truth be told, it would save all of us so much time if they could just kill you here. Unfortunately, rules are rules."
Nonchalantly talking about their lives and deaths, Usagi began to explain.
"You see, the gods which you humans pray to and worship, which most of you think are stories, are in fact real."
"Not only are they real, but on a majority basis, they have decided to destroy mankind as a result of your continued arrogance and stagnation."
"However, do not fear, but as you ants usually do, the gods have not completely forsaken you, for they have given you a way to struggle!"
"Zehee hahaah!"
"Funny, isn't it? For a group of overgrown monkeys who called themselves the head of the planet, you are nothing but ants in the game of gods!"
"Zehee hahaah!"
The more Usagi spoke, the more Usagi laughed. It even floated sideways, its arms barely holding its stomach as its giggles continued to appear and appear.
However, Lin Ye, hearing all this and seeing this familiar rabbit, was shocked.
'Fuck! Isn't this that bastard rabbit, Usagi?'
'And this void… this is exactly like the day I got pulled into the tower!?'
'Could some god be playing with me? Or did I really come to the past!?'
Completely shocked by what was happening, the familiar scenery left Lin Ye unable to react.
One minute ago, he was fighting with Zeus, and the next minute, he's back to stage one.
If someone told him no god was involved, he would think they were lying.
However, the timeline was something even the gods did not dare manipulate, as all kinds of ancient existences hid within.
For him to suddenly go back in time, it had to be a power outside the gods' reach.
"Wait a minute. If this is really the past, then that should happen, right about…"
"Now!"
Following his words, among the millions of humans floating all around him, one suddenly spoke up.
A blond white man with blue eyes and a scar on his upper lip.
"Hey, floating rabbit, how dare you call me a monkey!?"
"Do you know who my father is?"
He rasped, completely attracting everyone's attention.
However, the blond man seemed to be used to the attention, and seeing Usagi not reply,
Not only did he not stop, but with a smile, his voice suddenly became louder.
"I don't know where this is, perhaps some kind of test?"
"Or is it kidnapping?"
"However, I am Alex Morgan! From the Morgan family! Multibillionaire family!"
"If you kneel down and call me Young Master Alex, I can forgive you and whoever is controlling you."
"If not, then my father will not let you go!"
Folding his arms, with a smug smile, Alex looked at Usagi in the air.
All his life, whenever he had said his father's name, even kidnappers would release him out of fear of his family's wrath.
He didn't believe that it wouldn't work today.
However, he was dead wrong.
'Idiot!'
'Not only can his father not help him, but nothing on Earth can help him or anyone here again.'
'After all, we're not on Earth anymore.'
Muttering inwardly, Lin Ye already knew what was going to happen next, so he was not too surprised.
But to the people on Earth who were not used to violence, what happened next left them all frozen.
"Zehee hahaah!"
"Indeed, you all are truly monkeys."
"However, that is what makes playing with you so fun."
"That's it, I've decided to test something."
In the confused eyes of everyone, the cute rabbit suddenly turned scary.
His smile widened till it touched the tips of his ears.
His teeth became jagged, growing several meters long, and its height reached several feet in height.
From a cute rabbit, it had become an indomitable giant.
"I have decided. You will test just how loud you can scream before death!"
Not giving anyone a chance to react, the giant rabbit summoned an equally giant hammer from midair and squashed it on top of Alex.
Boom!
With a loud explosion, the hammer landed, killing him and several hundred humans in the process.
"Ahhh! Blood! Blood!"
"Mommy! What is this!? I want to go home!"
"Somebody! Help! Police! Police!"
All of a sudden, the crowd burst into chaos.
Seeing the crazy, bloodthirsty rabbit with a hammer still dripping with blood and a smile on its face,
And the void around them, the few delusional ones realized that this was indeed not a dream.
And if it was a dream, then this was a nightmare.
Instantly, the whole room was in chaos.
And Usagi, seeing the humans making noise like this, realized that he had been hasty.
If they didn't settle down, he couldn't complete his job and explain their situation to them.
If he didn't do it, then he might get punished by the gods.
Thinking of this, he looked at the scrambling humans and wondered if he should kill a few more till they kept quiet.
After all, there were so many. Killing one or two more wouldn't matter in the eyes of the gods.
However, before he could make a decision,
A small human voice attracted his attention and everyone present.
"Usagi, was it? Stop your hammer."
"I've come to bargain!"
