Chapter 29 - Abnormality

"If you are willing to walk forward together," Ash concluded. "Then help me build this tribe. Help me make it stronger because I won't be able to do it alone."

He raised his hand. "Together…" Ash said, his voice firm and resolute. "We will become the strongest tribe in this land."

The crowd went into an uproar as they shouted excitedly.

Ash was overjoyed because he noticed that almost everyone's loyalty had increased significantly, especially those from the Mirefang, Varkesh, and Korag tribes.

"Choose five people at the peak of the 2nd ranks randomly from the previous tribes and upgrade their ranks." Ash ordered the system, as he thought that if he were to prioritize the people from the previous Ragh'Tal tribe, it would only lead to dissatisfaction and bring negative results over time.

That was precisely why he decided to upgrade 20 people at once, divided from the previous 4 tribes.

[Ding! 2,000 Tribal Points have been successfully deducted.]

[Ding! Congratulations to the host! 20 people have successfully broken through to the 3rd Rank Warrior.]

The crowd was shocked when they felt 20 people become stronger at the same time, especially those from the previous Mirefang, Varkesh, and Korag tribes.

Unlike these people, who were shocked by such an occurrence, the people from the previous Ragh'tal immediately shouted louder as if their lives were on the line.

Without waiting for long, Ash ordered the system with the same order, upgrading 20 people randomly from the 4 previous tribes.

[Ding! 2,000 Tribal Points have been successfully deducted.]

[Ding! Congratulations to the host! 20 people have successfully broken through to the 3rd Rank Warrior.]

A lot of people from the crowd were left speechless when they noticed the amount of effort people from the Ragh'Tal Tribe had put into shouting had become another level.

They realized something and followed along by shouting loudly to the point that the commotion was too big, as hundreds of people were shouting at the same time.

A few moments later, Ash quieted them down and finally moved into the most important part.

He nodded in satisfaction. "Now that the current Ragh'Tal Tribe has seventy-six 3rd Ranks and five 4th Ranks, we'll directly proceed with the next plan, but—"

He paused for a moment, then continued with a smile. "Because a fortunate accident happened, the plan will be changed a little bit, as I, Old Ni, and Uncle Zan will enter the newly discovered 3rd-rank dungeon, while the mission of subjugating the Redhorn tribe will be left to you all."

Subsequently, he explained his new plan, as he wanted Harold and Riven to lead 50 3rd Ranks and a few 2nd Ranks to subjugate the Redhorn Tribe.

As for Kargan and the rest of the 3rd Ranks, he wanted them to hold the stronghold and just act as a backup in case an unexpected situation arose.

He also informed everyone that they could have a conversation with him directly with the help of God's power no matter where they were. However, the cost of doing so was so high that unless an urgent situation arose, he told them to never use it, or else he wouldn't spare anyone who took it lightly.

After settling everything down, he directly departed with Old Ni, Uncle Zan, and Vakra, heading south.

He had only planned just with Old Ni and Uncle Zan, as their strength was more than enough, but Vakra insisted on coming with him once again.

He actually wanted to refuse him, but after thinking about it for a while, he decided to let him follow along, as he thought that it would be better to have someone at his rank to fight together with him.

Around an hour later, they finally almost arrived at their destination after passing some terrain.

Old Ni raised his hand and slowed down his pace. "I felt the presence of a few 3rd Rank Warriors ahead of us."

"Are they going to raid the dungeon earlier than the predetermined time?" Ash raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe," Uncle Zan replied.

After giving it some thought, Ash ordered coldly. "Old Ni and Uncle Zan, kill them right away."

Because the chance of his people ending up fighting with the Redhorn Tribe wasn't small, he thought that getting rid of these people first would at least help them out in case the worst-case scenario happened.

"Wait for a moment." Old Ni chuckled softly and instantly moved at an extremely fast speed together with Uncle Zan.

While they were on it, Ash was casually walking in the forest as he observed the greenery in his surroundings.

In less than 30 seconds, Old Ni and Uncle Zan came back as if nothing happened.

"Done!"

"Thanks for your hard work." Ash looked at Uncle Zan, then Old Ni, before waving his hand dismissively. "Let's go."

After walking a little bit further, he saw seven corpses with a clean cut on their bodies, with four of their heads being separated from their bodies.

30 meters away from him, he saw a distortion in the air. The space there rippled like the surface of dark water struck by something.

Shadows clung to it unnaturally, swallowed by a vertical oval of void that hovered half a meter above the ground. The earth beneath the anomaly had turned black.

From within the portal, a cold and oppressive pressure seeped out, crawling across the ground and pressing against his chest.

'Interesting.' Ash raised an eyebrow, thinking that the feeling of experiencing it himself was different compared to the one he felt from the memory.

Subsequently, Ash led the three of them, and the moment he was 50 cm away from the portal, he felt the suction that forced his body to go forward.

As his vision was blurred, he was caught off guard and shocked as he heard notifications from the system that he had never expected to receive at times like this.
