He couldn't brush it off as a stupid dream anymore!! With things going exactly as they were in the book, he couldn't just sit back and take it but first he had to make sure. For all he knew Mrs kim would just have a cold or somethiong minor, Yes not some fatal disease that came out if no where.
They arrived at the hospital and ethan quickly followed Dan,although he knew the room number was going to be 403 he still had hope that the dream was wrong but to his disaapointment they arrived at room 403– "Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)'' the doctor said as he stepped out of the Ward and faced Mr. Kim ''She needs emergency treatment because the disease is in it's fatal stage, if she had come earlier it would have been much better'' ''doctor does that mean you can save her?'' Mr kim asked, The doctor put on a remorseful expression ''well that depends if the disease hasn't spread far yet but with the condition of the patient...''
At that point ethan was lost in thought he remembered that in his dream his aunt would be hospilisied for two months and in the first month she would be fine and the treatment would start working, but in the last month she would eventually pass succumbing to the disease, ethan clenched his fists tightly. No matter what the doctors would try it was inevitable for his aunt to pass, it was fate and he hated the thought of fate controlling his life, if it was fate that she would pass then that would mean it was fate that he would go through all that. No! He had to do something anything to change it! He wanted to live a peaceful life not forced to do stuff for his survival, No! He absolutely couldn't go down that path.
''Hey!!'' Dan called out and that snapped him back to reality ''Mum wants you inside'' Dan looked at him with a concerned expression that made ethan grit his teeth knowing that the concern that Dan had for him came with impure thoughts ''yeah'' He forced himself to look normal and not show his disgust as they entered the room with Dan leading the way, when they entered they found Mrs kim laying weakiky on the hospital bed with her husband by her side and as soon as she saw the two boys she smiled and tried to sit up but Dan stooped her ''stop that mum your still unwell'' He helped her sit up on a pillow ''atleast the doctors said you'll be fine aslong as you take your medication religiously Mr kim began as he poured some water in a glass for his wife giving her the cup as he continued ''though you still need to stay in the hospital for a few more days for observation...'' He explained as they continued to talk and ethan just stood there.
It wasn't that he wanted to avoid them but he just didn't want to get close to Mr kim now that he had confirmed that his dream was some kind of prophecy! Though he didn't want to belive it, his gut told him to. He knew that Mr kim amd Dan both held improper thoughts towards him. Mr kim held more lust towards him and Dan was obsessed with him which he wasn't sure why.
''Ethan'' a weak voice cut off his thoughts as he stared at the now empty room with only him and his aunty in it ''where–'' ''I sent them away on an errand, come '' She raised her hands at him and he quickly went to grab it and she placed her hands on his cheeks ''whats wrong? Are you sure your okay?'' He paused and looked down as he sighed ''you said you were fine'' he said in a strained voice ''ah....well i never thought that it was something serious'' She chuckled ''.....and the doctor said i would be fine as long as i take my medication '' She smiled at him ''so please don't be sad, otherwise you'll make me'' She paused and looked at her nephew's face, she felt sad knowing that he might think he's loosing her like what happened with his parents. She didnt want to see ethan looking so empty or sad again ''I'm sorry'' She said as she smiled at him. He didn't say anything and just held a hands that were still cupping his cheeks tightly, Yes she had to be sorry because she would leave him eventually, ethan didn't ponder on it longer as he didnt want to make her worried.
They talked for some time before Mr kim arrived alone as Dan had remained home, he had gone home to collect some clothes and essentials needed for her stay at the hospital.
They left the hospital after some time and drove back home.
On the way home ethan choose to sit in the back as he wanted to think and not engage in small talk with his uncle. He still couldn't come to terms with what was going on, yes he now believed the dream but what if some things were not true– like Mr Kim's betrayal and abuse. After his parents died he was the sole heir to the company, they owned an very prominent entertainment company called broise aentertainment and since he was too young to take over he instead appointed his uncle Mr kim as head until he was old enough to take over. Though after Mr kim took over things didn't go so well because he wasn't compenent enough but still it manged somehow. In the dream however after his wife passed he forced himself on ethan almost immediately as if finally having the chance and later on forced ethan to hand over his shares of the company after labelling him as mentally ill when he tried to run away, he even took him to a clinic and forced him to take 'medications for his illness', brainwashing him into thinking that he was really ill. Then as if that wasn't enough he forced ethan to seduce powerful figures to elevate his business which he changed to 'Kim entertainment'. Ethan was practically his own toy and sex worker. Mr kim was the worst!
''We're here'' Mr kim said as he looked at ethan through the mirror and that brought ethan back ''ah yah..'' he said as he opened the door and walked into the house straight to his room and locked the door and sat on his bed ''haaaaa!'' He needed to confirm if Mr kim was to be trusted.
Yes he now trusted the dream and took it as some sort of prophecy but he couldn't help but have some doubts about it. Mr kim was a good man and would never be into him and worst use his own nephew to rise to elevate himself right? He took a deep breath in as he thought of a plan.
