Jasmine asked the highly skilled Minotaur owner at the smithy to forge a good iron plowshare, then instructed the Dwarf brothers to make a sturdy wooden plow based on a drawing she sketched from memory.
Unfortunately, Ankera town had no strong buffaloes to pull the plow. The people here had backward farming methods and no concept of deep plowing and careful weeding; for them, being able to clear weeds and rocks from the field was already considered good farming.
Jasmine originally intended to modify the wooden plow to be pulled by a horse to save human effort, but the others vehemently objected because they couldn't bear it.
After all, the only strong adult horse in the castle was the Lord's precious mount, a symbol of authority. If it got tired or injured from pulling a plow, the Lord would have no mount for travel.
Under everyone's earnest dissuasion, Jasmine had to abandon the idea of using the horse to plow the field.
