Beep! Beep!
The beeping sound of the medical machineries echoed in the room, slowly stirring a young man awake.
"You've opened your eyes, good. I was worried you were in coma."
A pair of blue eyes opened, stared at the white ceiling, then shifted to the face of the one speaking.
It was as expected, a nurse. She wasn't particularly beautiful, nor did she have any redeeming features. However, she had a warm smile that made someone feel comfortable. Still, it was only that much. She was… uninteresting.
'A colorless.'
Kaiser thought. It had been a while he actively labelled those around him that way, and he usually didn't want to. However, the recent event had somewhat reverted him to his old self. The one those in the clan were more accustomed to.
"I can't believe you actually survived without my own specific healing ability."
The nurse said with a hint of credulity in her voice.
"Without?" Kaiser asked, signalling for clarification.
