As the clones stand in the now filled shrine they admire their earthbending handiwork and find it quite nice. The statues are all full of detail, well except for the god of possibilities, despite being scaled down. Well most of them are scaled down except for the god of merchants who is almost life sized as all the statues are 3 feet tall. the god of death would be life sized if they didn't have to include the scythe.
After admiring their handiwork They decide to place offerings and they offer a prayer to each of them. For the Goddess of life they offer a newly cloned mushroom stock slime, they kept bob, they knew it was him because he has a name and status when they hold him and he appears on their status screen. For the god of death they offer the 3 skulls they found. For the god of reincarnation they cut off a finger in each form and regrew it with healing magic and offered the fingers. Honestly didn't know what to do for him but since Tako was reincarnated most likely by him it seemed best.
For the God of nature they made a pot with earthbending and used magic to grow a great oak tree sapling from a seed they found. For the Goddess of creativity they offered Statues of themselves and an earthen fantasy game of Stratego. For the god of possibilities they offer a stone book of their journey so far and potential futures they thought up. For the Goddess of the spirits they offer fur and feathers from each of their prey and a mandrake seed they found. For the god of the elements they offer up 3 of their 11 levels in earthbending in a silent promise.
For the god of Merchants they offer up a full set of blacksmith and garden tools exquisitely crafted with metalbending and plantbending. For the god of dragons they offer every scale that Tako has shed so far and an earthen bottle of dragon flame and a bit of dragon hair they cut with a spell they made for the God of magic. For the God of magic they create the spell Dragon Hair cutter, which turns out to be air and spirit combination magic. They also Obtain Necromancy Magic in order to offer 3 undead horned rabbits to the goddess of the dead. And for the goddess of the undead they offer the 3 undead horned rabbit zombies they created. As well as blood from each of the prey and each of the clones.
With the Offerings placed in front of each statue they offer their prayers to the gods and goddesses. "Thank you all for giving me/us another chance at life in this world and the myriad of worlds it is connected to. We hope you accept our humble offerings. They aren't much but please understand we put thought and effort into each one and promise to offer a prayer every day from now on." Once the words have been uttered all the offerings disappear. "Looks like they accepted the offerings." And No sooner had those words been said the three clones find themselves in a white void before the 12 gods and goddesses.
"Hohohohohoho! I welcome you my new favorite soul that I have reincarnated." The old man god of reincarnation says with joyful laughter. "Thank you for being so diligent as to not only seek out me but those I call my family. You wouldn't believe how many people only thank me. Nor how many don't even bother to think of any of us, we even have priests and priestesses who only pray but have never made an offering. Let alone offerings to each of us and so very well thought through. I appreciate giving a part of yourself back to me. To be honest it was the perfect gift because it provides the seeds for me to reincarnate someone. In the future I'll take more of those or maybe some skill levels if you're willing. My Name is Kiro by the way." He says as he rolls back the sleeves of his blue shirt. The clones try to say something but are interrupted by another god.
"Don't give the old man any of the elemental skills save them for Ashk. Ashk Appreciates peoples connection to the elements. Ashk can get elements themselves easy peasy but connections are special." The red and gold Kobold God of the elements says. "Yeah and feel free to share as many of those games from earth with me! I'm Matilda by the way you better play a round or two of this Stratego with me. Haw about we play a game or two right now." The big woman in the coveralls says in a loud booming voice her red hair bouncing in its buns, her freckles accentuating her smile. Once again the clones can't get a word in.
"Quiet down Matilda you're scaring my new child. A mushroom stock slime is quite a unique specimen, there haven't been any in this world before you know. Keep up the good work Tako and remember; a tamed creatures development relies as much on the tamer's intention as its environment and care, you could have just ended up with a mushroom slime or a waste slime, both of which are common in this world." The giant slender woman with pale white skin and hair in the center says in an eloquent voice. "Hey don't tell me not to be passionate when you just talked our ears of about slimes lily." Matilda quips back at the woman petting the slime, however she did lower her voice. The clones stay quiet but smile at the advice and right when they think they can speak another god speaks up.
"Speaking Of passion I've never been gifted so much and so many different bloods at once, plus 3 undead, normally a level one necromancer can only manage to summon one lesser undead. I Krisha will reward your passion with the blessing of vampire cloning, for every different species clone you have or develop you can make a copy that is a vampire. Keep them away from the sun mind you, at least until they are strong enough. and remember, vampires can eat normal food but they get their strength from blood." The vampire woman on the far right with long black curly hair says in a mildly sultry voice. The clones Thank you dies in their throat as another god buts in.
"Can it Krisha you are just trying to take another dragonkin, Wasn't Glorin the Kinslayer enough for you? Tako You May Have the blessing of me the almighty dragon God Gayruda (Guy rude uh) says a shrunken slender green and white 30 foot serpentine dragon coiled around the back of the chairs with its head coming from the far left of the semicircle table. His tail flicking against Krisha with a light smack eliciting a smile from the vampire. "You're asking for a bite there you old coot" "you bite me I bite you back you she devil" They quip back in forth in a tone that is a bit more than playful, probably lovers. "The vampire aside may you take the form of a mighty dragon with majestic purple and blue scales" The clones thump their chest with pride ready to respond without speaking.
"A purple and blue dragon huh? That's rare, Your scales with fetch a hefty sum take my Blessing as well and Remember the name Brash the merchant god. Embody my name as you strike deals that leave your customers coffers empty." The Goblin god says adjusting his gold monocle and black suit and the clones bow in appreciation Just before the mysterious god of magic speaks up. "My name is Arik and take my blessing of magic may you solve many of your problems in the future with magic and ingenuity." Matilda speaks up. "and creativity to I bless you as well" She says wrapping her arms around Arik as the clones stay bowed, and good thing too as another god once again speaks up. The clones all just want to say they don't need the blessings but you know what they say, don't bite the gods that bless you.
The majestic white wolf with a tail of blue fire and antlers that put the greatest of elks to shame is the one who speaks this time. "And I Lena bless you with spirit magic and the ability to commune with spirits. May they guide you to the future they desire." "And I Peon bless you to commune with nature, may you stay true to your own." The pale gold god goddess thing of nature adds. "Ashk wants to bless Tako too! Take Ashk's blessing too!" The kobold butts in.
"With all these possibilities take my blessing too and make the impossible happen time and time again, the Name is Tyrrin," Says the odd fairy like creature to the right of the center. Suddenly there is a bone chilling laugh from the squat skeleton with the scythe. "I guess that just leaves lily and I, My name is Havish the god of death. Take my blessing and remember and pay heed to those you consume along your way." "And take my blessing and help breathe new life into the world." the God and goddess near the center of the table say with smiles that look unnatural yet ethereal and beautiful.
Finally the clones have a chance to speak. "I thank you mighty gods and goddesses for you're great generosity. While I do not feel I deserve to be blessed I will humbly accept them and do my best to remain diligent in praying to you every morning and make an offering at least once a month. Truly thank you for the many things you have done to help this sad lost soul. Please know that it is all greatly appreciated."
"Hohohohohohohoho, and we appreciate that you are diligent in your actions, now that is all the time we have for now enjoy your life and remember to keep your promise to pray every day." Kiro Says and suddenly the 3 clones are back in the real world. Whisked Away before they could say anything else and grateful that they even had a moment to speak.
Tako the dragonkin clone is the first to break the silence. "Well that was unexpected, guess I'm going to be religious again, it's been years since I prayed daily." Hiper Chimes in "Yeah but back then we were praying to a god we didn't even know if they existed. Isn't it better to pray to 12 gods we have actually seen and talked to?"
Justine acts as the mediation. "Not necessarily, You see back on earth when we were young we believed that who we prayed to was real, we believed that if we did the right thing and were kind and helped others our lives would be good. And in the end they were pretty decent, in fact our life only went downhill after we stopped praying and going out of our way to help people. We lost both our religion and our purpose in life. It was and is not wrong to believe in a god or gods you have never seen, because faith belief and hope truly do make your life better. But only if you truly believe in your convictions. And think about it the main core of the religion we followed on earth was that our god let us live life the way we want to live. And that he Let us make our own choices as long as we return to the fold or follow his teachings to be kind to others and avoid self destructive behaviors we would be saved and return to his kingdom. We left and went our own route but now we are living true to ourselves, I believe that god would not hate us. In fact he preached only love, so as long as we love and live, and pay respects to others and to our new gods, we may still be partially following that path. Not that we will be able to return to the fold at this point."
"Listen to you Justine you always were the logical and reasonable one, It's the autism" Tako says with a chuckle and the others join in on the laughter. "Oh can it Tako if I still have Autism you both have it too. You know, I think this is one of the few moments I've ever been able to say that I truly love myself and meant it. I love you both and this new life that we are building. I can honestly say that I am glad I am where I am. I miss my family they were always great support but we all have to live our own lives eventually."
