As he warned the man, he threw a small bag of energy stones to the man. The man took it and began to count.
As he counted the money, he said to Loki, "I trust that you won't try to cheat little old me. But you might have made a mistake when you were counting the amount. After all, no one is perfect."
In response, Loki snorted in disdain. He felt disrespected, so he would try to cheat someone out of 1,000 energy stones when he was capable of cheating people out of millions, but he didn't say anything. He waited patiently for the man to finish counting.
After a while, the man finished counting. He closed the small bag and hung it with a rope on his belt as he said with a smile, "It is all there."
But Loki was not in the mood for smiles. He growled at the man and said, "Now, spill your guts or I might do it for you."
