The street was bustling at the capital of Hiden. A knight woke up to the view of a breath-taking scenery of the city.Today he was supposed to be on duty, though he casually just do his stuff instead of rushing to work.Today mark as the day that the legendary hero party defeated the demon king which became a holiday celebrated by everyone.Usually, knight still have duties even if it was a holiday, who knows what will happen to the royal of Hiden if they weren't around. Although this knight wasn't guarding the palace, he had requested to take a day off from work to visits his old friend, Raye.
Raye and this knight have been friends since their academy.They had been desk mate at a famous academy in Hiden. They later went on to become knight guarding the royal family of Hiden. The reason Raye became a knight was primarily to maintain a good relationship between the Winston family and the royal family of Hiden. Recently, Raye has been put onto an expedition to explore the demon king continent.He and a group of knights began their search one month ago.The demon king continent is a very dangerous place, only strong knight is allowed to explore the demon king continent. The knight, Raye friend, didn't go to the expedition since he need to guard the third princess of Hiden and that have been his job after he got promoted from a regular knight to an elite knight.
Its been a month since the knight met his friend Raye.he decided to take a day off and chat with him.They decides to meet up in a café in the capital.
"Hey Raye, its been a while since we talk huh,"
Raye:"I guess you're right, how's the third princess doing,"
"You know the usual, always whining about she being the most favorite child among the royals, threatening knight to dismiss them if they don't do their work properly,"
In the Kingdom of Hiden, the king have seven children, three daughters and four sons. The first daughter is 25 years old, second daughter is 16 years old and the third daughter is 14 years old.
"So how's the expedition going?"
Raye:"Nothing much, except for beast getting in the way, pretty goof overall, the demon king castle is huge, we have not explore even half of it yet!You should see it for yourself,"
"That's nice,"
Raye:" We have another expedition later this afternoon, sorry we couldn't chat longer"
"Its alright, I have to run some errands later anyways"
After their chat, they part off and do their things, not aware that the next time they would meet wouldn't be just a month or so.Fast forward to 5 weeks later, Will, Raye and Al is still inside the Kingdom of Arron, going to the dune.They decided to stop by a town for a break.This town is famous for their view of the mountain located near by the capital city of Arron.They book a room that the mountain is visible from the window.They then did some quest to earn money and decided to wander the city. Al bought a new mini staff that is half the length of a staff since his old one is broken during him trying to sneak in the palace and got caught by the guard.
Raye:"Say, why did you try to sneak in the palace,"
Al:"The first prince of Arron was my student, he had graduate this year and I decided to gift him a gift,"
Will:"Can't you just try to enter through by asking the guard?"
Al:" I did, but they just say peasant are off limit and they didn't listen to what I say,"
" You quite persistent aren't you," Raye laugh as they walk through the streets.
" What did you give the prince anyway,"
"A gem that is needed for mini staff to use healing magic"
The sun begin to set as they return to their inn.
"the view is beautiful here..."
Will muttered to himself and smile. So this is the beauty of the world. Things that I never witness before or taken into mind during my life at the demon king continent, Will thought to himself.
