Chapter 58 - Blackbeard—Exit

"To be honest, Captain, even if that Master didn't say anything, you never actually trusted me, right?"

Hector pulled the Holy Grail from Blackbeard's chest and stepped back slightly to maintain some distance before speaking with a hint of emotion.

He had to admit, his undercover work was an utter failure.

On Blackbeard's side, no one trusted him. On Takumi's side, he was treated as the biggest threat from the start. It could be said he pleased neither side.

What kind of undercover agent ends up like him?

"...Heh, a great hero like you suddenly joining my broken ship, no matter how you think about it, something's fishy, right?"

Blackbeard covered his chest, where a large hole had been stabbed and blood was gushing out, and sneered.

Moreover, he was naturally suspicious by nature.

"Is that so? Then I really made a mistake from the very beginning..."

Hector said casually, retreating towards the side of the ship without stopping, while vigilantly watching Blackbeard and Takumi's group.

Even though he avoided vital points, the injuries on his body were not fatal.

But it still felt quite unpleasant. If left untreated for a long time, even as a Servant, he would still die.

After all, he wasn't Heracles, that man harder than steel; normal attacks were enough to break his defense.

Drake's bullets, Euryale's arrows, and Takumi's Rune magic fireballs—the three silent killers struck towards Hector like rain.

Knowing the importance of the Holy Grail, the three had absolutely no intention of talking, each unleashing their maximum firepower available in a short time to attack Hector.

A trace of regret flashed in Hector's eyes upon seeing this.

Actually, in his plan, besides snatching the Holy Grail, he also intended to kidnap Euryale along with it.

Unfortunately, even now, Euryale was well-protected by them.

If he got greedy now, he would probably be in deep trouble.

Knowing it was impossible, Hector transformed his sword back into a spear, spinning it rapidly like an electric fan.

Using this to block the attacks from Takumi and the others.

"Sorry everyone, looks like Uncle can't play with you anymore!"

At this moment, Hector had retreated to the side of the ship; just a light leap and he could jump into the sea.

"Trying to escape? Not that easy!"

Blackbeard also got ruthless, firing several shots at Hector in succession, trying to force him back from the ship's side.

Hector was also watching Blackbeard's actions. Upon noticing his attack, he easily dodged some of the bullets and blocked the rest with his spear.

"Goodbye!"

Seeing Takumi and the others gradually approaching, Hector had no mind to waste more words. With a dive, he plunged into the sea.

"F*ck! We can't stop this guy if he wants to run!"

Drake arrived belatedly, looking down at the vast ocean where the figure could no longer be seen, and couldn't help cursing.

No choice. After all, he was a great hero of Troy, and compared to attacking, he was more adept at defending. If he wanted to run, it was basically impossible to keep him without making more preparations.

"He's injured and swimming; he definitely can't run far. Let's go back to the ship and chase!"

Seeing his premonition come true, Takumi's expression wasn't great, but he still suggested.

What was important now was to ensure Hector didn't meet up with Jason and the others no matter what. Otherwise, the subsequent battle would return to high difficulty level.

"Well said, let's go!"

Drake nodded, obviously knowing the seriousness of the matter. Without another word, she planned to return to the ship to continue the pursuit.

"Boss! Bad news, there's another ship coming this way!"

"And looking at the style of that ship, there's probably another superman who can tank cannonballs with his head on board!"

Just after taking two steps, the two heard the panicked voices of the pirates.

Takumi and Drake were startled instantly, hurriedly running to the front of the ship to look in the direction the pirates pointed.

At some point, a golden warship had appeared not far from their two ships, constantly approaching their location.

That was Jason's Argo!

Even though Takumi hadn't truly seen the Argo, a ship this flashy was probably unique to the Argo in this Singularity.

At the same time, the two also saw Hector's figure, swimming desperately towards the Argo.

The speed of his arms moving was so fast it almost left afterimages!

Hector wasn't stupid. After realizing both sides were targeting him, he immediately contacted Jason secretly and explained the situation.

Jason didn't hesitate after knowing it, driving his beloved ship straight to Hector's location.

Just in time to catch up!

Hector was happy, but Takumi and the others couldn't smile.

"F*ck! Don't think you can run away easily like this!"

Drake cursed angrily, pulled out a cannon, and fired a shot at Hector's location.

The cannonball streaked through the air, hitting the water in front of Hector, flushing him into doing two spins in the sea and splashing a large amount of water.

Hector was frightened into trembling all over. After taking a deep breath, he hurriedly dived into the water and started swimming underwater.

Seeing no trace of Hector, Drake had to disperse the cannon while cursing.

Seeing this, Takumi knew that stopping Hector was unlikely.

"No good, we can't stop Hector. We have to retreat."

Heracles was not someone they could defeat. Even using all their tricks, taking out one of his lives would be the limit.

Then they would sorrowfully discover that their attacks couldn't hurt Heracles at all, and finally be chopped to death one by one by Heracles.

"Go!"

Drake ordered decisively, having no intention of bravely probing.

She had long heard Takumi and Euryale explain, so she naturally understood that Heracles was basically unsolvable in this Singularity.

Blackbeard had been lying nearby clutching his chest for a long time. Originally, he was thinking of saying a few sentimental words before exiting.

But seeing the two didn't even mean to glance at him and were about to start running straight away, his eyes widened in disbelief instantly.

"Hey hey, do you not treat me as a human? I've been here all along! At least look at me!"

"Please, we are in a hurry to run away now. We don't even have the mind to fulfill the promise of twisting your head off. Where would we find the leisure to chat with you?"

Drake complained without looking back.

"Wait, don't you think cutting someone's head off is very cruel?"

Blackbeard only felt the world was particularly ruthless to him.

"Anyway, didn't your normal death also involve your head being cut off?"

"This time leaving your head with you, just exit obediently!"

After speaking, Drake leaped up, following closely behind Takumi back to her own ship.

"No! I finally organized some sentimental words, at least wait for me to finish, onegai!"

Responding to Blackbeard were Drake's look of disgust and a scornful gesture.
