As the elevator went down, Amabel's small hand remained in Valentine's and the man was busy looking at her fingers with an indescribable gaze that didn't make her feel any discomfort but made her have some thoughts that she knew mustn't have.
In order to chase away such thoughts, she quickly found a topic to talk about.
"Hubby, where are we going? Do I know the place?" and it so happen that since she was in the dark regarding where they were going, she might as well probe the man.
Maybe she has heard of the place before, who knows?
Surely, that question worked magic as it distracted him from his wild thoughts as he looked at her with a doting smile.
"It's a place you must have never heard about, but trust me, you will like it," with endearing in his tone he answered her and she stuck her tongue playfully at him before coquettishly asking, "really?"
"Um, you will like it, trust me."
