Chapter 3 - chapter 3:The High-Stakes Gamble

The underground gambling den in Gangnam smelled of expensive cigars and desperation. Kang-dae walked through the heavy steel doors, his new, straightened posture making him look like a young tiger entering a den of wolves.

"Ten million won buy-in," a scarred man at the door grunted.

Kang-dae didn't hesitate. He tapped his phone against the card reader. [Ding! 10,000,000 Won deducted. Balance: 240 Won.] He was officially broke again, but he didn't feel afraid.

He sat at the center table where a group of middle-aged businessmen were playing Texas Hold'em. They looked at his cheap convenience store jacket and laughed.

"Did you get lost on your way to a delivery, kid?" one man mocked, throwing a 5-million-won chip into the pot.

Kang-dae ignored him. He looked at the cards in the man's hand.

[Target: Professional Gambler. Current Hand: Pair of Kings. Success Rate of Blurring him: 15%.]

Then, Kang-dae looked at the deck of cards in the dealer's hand.

[Next Card: Ace of Spades. Success Rate of Winning if you go All-In: 100%.]

A cold smile touched Kang-dae's lips. The "Eye of Business" wasn't just for buildings; it was for any transaction involving risk. He waited for the right moment.

"All in," Kang-dae said, pushing his entire stack of chips into the middle.

The table went silent. The professional gambler sneered. "You're bluffing. You've got nothing but a pair of twos."

"Call," the man shouted, slamming his cards down. "Kings!"

The dealer flipped the final card. The Ace of Spades.

"Royal Flush," the dealer whispered, his voice trembling. "The winner is... the kid."

[Ding! Reward: 200,000,000 Won won!]

[System Note: Your 'Eye of Business' has leveled up. You can now detect if someone is lying to you.]

Kang-dae raked in the mountain of chips. He wasn't done yet. He had 46 hours left to reach 500 million, and the room was full of "sharks" ready to be hunted.
