Chapter 1 - My Awakening

"Where Is He? a man wearing. a Suit acessorized with chains

on he's neck, he looked rather Intimidating with Two others. with the same intimidating aura accompining Him.

"He's in there." Pointing To the direction of a door at the end of the hall.

...

Tap! Tap!, Tap! Almost felt Like It was echoing around the whole place. It was the Sound of Fingers Tapping the surface of a table. a man whose Face Could not be seen was sitted In a dim room, all that eluminated the room was a Computer that displayed the picture of a woman With Long Pink hair and ocean blue eyes holding a bouquet of Flowers.

The doors suddenly burst open. It was the three men, still approaching, the man did not stop tapping the table coming to a halt near his table.

"Boss, the information that Jeff guy gave was quite helpful. I've gathered the gang together. Nothing but the highest quality rifles, guns, and titanium iron bats, so we could give them a good beating. The S-Knights won't even know what hit them," saying all this with a serious expression he adds one last thing. "We're ready when you are, boss, just give the order."

It's silent for a while; all you could hear was the tapping. Then he stopped.

"Alright boys! Let's exterminate some bugs," he says walking out the door accompanied by the three men.

"Yes, boss!!"

. . . . .

Smack, Slap, Slap!

"Wait... Argh!"

It was a secluded warehouse, away from the eyes of the public. A man was being beaten by what seemed like some few dozen of men around him.

"Hahaha, come on Jack. Don't you think you're being too soft on the guy?"

"Argh... argh!"

"See... much better, at least I can hear him scream now, haha."

"Argh... Please stop, it's not what it looks like, I—I can explain! Boss you gotta believe me—argh," taking a punch to the face he falls to the ground.

"Wait, hang on." The whole place falls silent as the man that spoke walks up to the boy being beaten. He had an aura that went with him that said 'I'm boss,' and clothes fitting for a mafia boss.

"Ah, yes boss, you gotta listen. I'm not on their side at all," as he just stared down at the boy, his gaze unfazed.

/Damn it all, how do I convince boss that I'm on his side. I better do something fast/

"Boss, what if I go and become a spy for—argh" was the last thing he said before being kicked directly in the face by the boss.

"You'll become a spy for me... ha-haha-hahahahaha...—" After the laughter came an intense air that swept the warehouse. Before you could blink, a gun was pointed at the boy.

"Please... don't make me laugh. If you had kept your mouth shut we would have had a nice and sunny day today, and your blood would have been spared wouldn't it?"

"Boss, spare me. I was drunk that's why—"

"Oh... so you were drunk."

/Shit I messed up. I broke number 1 rule of the S-Knights.../

"Never make excuses for your incompetence. I was thinking of sparing you but you know how it is. You know what happens when you break that rule."

"That's it, I can't take it anymore. Screw you all, go to hell—" was the last thing he said before the gun was fired at him. Gun still in hand pointing at the boy, someone walks up to him.

"Boss, you got a phone call."

He turns at the man with a stern face that was stained with blood from the boy he had just killed.

"[Yo, Collins. I hope you're doing well. We can't have you dying before I kill you]" the man on the phone spoke.

"I'm sure you didn't just call to ask about my health. Or have you gone from number 1 best mafia boss of Las Vegas to my personal doc."

"[Haha, you wish. Well you know why I'm calling. You see, you have one of my prized possessions and I'd like it back. Just so you know, you got two minutes]".

"Fine, it's all yours. If you meet my demands and—".

"[Haa... Collins, Collins. I'm not calling so you could make demands. I'm just calling so I could tell you what I plan to do. I mean, a dead man can't make wills, can they?]".

"I see. Well then, I see no point for this conversation. Hope you arrive safely".

"[Haha, I will]" (beep).

"It seems our guests are coming sooner than planned. I mean, we can't be bad hosts, can we? Kevin, I'd like my bargain chip to be placed on display".

"Right away, boss".

As they start to roll a lever, revealing a girl who was barely hanging from a chain as her only support. It was the girl with pink hair and ocean blue eyes.

. . . . .

"Wow, what a warm reception. I love what you've done with the place. Also, could you come out?" "And turn on the damn lights for Christ's sake. What you think you're pulling, you wannabe Batman?" This was said by his right and left-hand men who had looks that could kill.

"There's no point in all of this, Collins. Even if it's dark, I know where you are, so do all my men. Your century-old tactics won't work on my group". "I can't be number one for nothing, you know. So stop wasting time and give me—" A single light turns on, just like a spotlight. It shined brightly on the girl dangling from chains.

"Boss Lady!!" "You savages, let her go!" as Collins walks out.

"Are you sure you want that?" as all the lights turn on, revealing Collins' gang. "Anyways, so what do you think of my offer, Zack Zegury—" Before he could finish, a bullet flew towards him as he was barely able to react on time, leaving a slight cut where the bullet flew.

"Tsk, I was aiming for a direct hit. Looks like it's your lucky day," the other gang thinks.

/When did he even bring out a gun?/

/What even is this guy?/

"Zack, just run. It's a trap! I don't want you to get hurt," the girl said in a worried voice while he ignores her.

"Hahaha, well that was close. But I see negotiation is off the table. Boys, why don't we show them some stars, shall we?"

"Yes, boss!"

"No way out, I suppose. Kelvin, Ash".

"Way ahead of you, boss".

"Just leave these second-rate bugs to us. Focus on getting back the miss".

"Alright boys, let's light em up!" The whole place is in chaos; guns being fired, people hitting each other, and bats being swung. Amidst the chaos, Zack walks through it, shooting anyone that came in his way without even looking or blinking, eyes set on Collins. He walks over, gun at hand pointing straight at Collins. He takes his shot but was out of bullets.

"I know I said this before, but you are one lucky guy," Zack smiles before giving the signal to someone.

/Something's not right. Everything is going too fast, he's not even putting up a fight. Wait, don't tell me!/ As he turns to look at the girl, she smiles with tears in her eyes, almost pouring out.

"Stupid, I told you to leave and not look back!"

"N-no! Ella, get away from her, damn it!" As he runs, picks up a gun from the floor, and aims at the man next to the chain handle. He shoots immediately, but he had already pulled it.

"Ella!!!" Like an alarm, it rang through the whole place, alerting Zack's team to look at what was happening. They watched as she fell like a fallen angel, more graceful and beautiful than ever.

/Come on, move your legs, damn it! I'm so close—/ were the last thoughts in his mind before he watched her fall to her death. Standing over her body with a face filled with devastation. There was evident sorrow for Zack's gang, especially his right and left-hand men who noticed something and were running over to him, but he was too lost in thought to realize.

It was a sniper gun pointed directly at him.

"Boss, look out!" Kelvin and Ash shouted as they ran towards him. Collins was pointing it directly at him as he gives an evil grin.

"See you in hell, Zack". He is pulling the trigger when Kelvin and Ash stand in front of him to take the bullet, but to no avail. It went through all three of them.

It went black.

. . . . .

"Hey, hey, are you sleeping? Wake up already".

As a boy opens his deep sea blue eyes . . .
