Chapter 20 - TUTORIAL XV: DESPERATE FIGHT AGAINT HUMAN PUPPET VER.10

Elias looked at the stats of Human Puppet Ver.10 with dead eyes.

"Its health is at S Grade. No, it's at S+ meaning it would be a lot more than usual." He felt like his hope of defeating this super Boss is non-existent. Once more, he cursed his luck, or lack of it.

"Its weakest stats is its Agility, so I can kite the Boss, but since it's at D, it should be somewhat fast, at least for more. Speaking of it, how does my number translate to the stats grading system used for enemies." He genuinely wanted to know, so he can tell if he could outrun the Human Puppet and slowly whittle it down. It's probably the only way for him to defeat the Boss in the first place.

As he was thinking, Elias barely managed to see from the corner of his eyes that the Human Puppet was moving.

'Wait, don't tell me it didn't wait for me to make the first move?!' He yelled in his heart, leaping backwards in hope to create extra distance from the large Boss.

Unfortunately, he was correct, as the Human Puppet moved in his direction. The good news, it didn't move at a blinding speed. At the very most, it moved almost as fast as him. The bad news. It moved as fast as him. Meaning, he couldn't hope to whittle the Human Puppet should it move slower.

Elias casted Stone Shard, sending sharp stones at the Human Puppet. Hoping to assess some of its abilities. As he casted it in a wide range, the Human Puppet couldn't dodge it without getting hit, so it needed to block it. Which it did.

He observed as the Human Puppet tried to charge while blocking with all of its weapons. The size of the Human Puppet meant that despite the force of Stone Shard, the Human Puppet merely got staggered, barely being pushed back by the force of the impact.

'At least it stopped,' Elias looked on the bright side. It's probably the only good thing for him at the moment as he tried to think of ways to defeat the Human Puppet, as while he was pessimistic of his chances of defeating the absurdly overpowered Boss, he would at least try to win instead of just letting himself get killed in the game.

Pouring Water Aura into his Energy Slash, Elias unleashed E- Water Slash, the Water Attribute attack sailing towards the stopped Human Puppet. He didn't stop there though. He unleashed several more. Some being Water Slash, while others being Earth Slash.

It might be reckless of him to use his Energy in such wasteful manners but he knew he needed to take some risks to somehow eke out a win.

As his Skills hit the Human Puppet, Elias watched as it blocked the attacks with its weapons. However, he also noted it didn't manage to block it perfectly.

'The Human Puppet was pushed by the attack, plus some that hit its limbs managed to leave deep marks.' Unfortunately, the marks were healed in astonishing speed, the recovery almost done in an instant.

'Its Vitality likely played an important part.' He noted. As he added more details he managed to gleam from the brief fight, Elias was soon reminded that he was not the only one with Weapon and Magic Skills in the room.

His eyes widened as the Human Puppet raised some of its weapons. Quickly, he jumped back and created Earth Wall, multiple in fact, and layered them in a way that it can block any incoming attack with ease. Or he hoped for it.

And despite the Earth Walls also blocking his view, Elias could still see a part of the Human Puppet's attacks, each heading in his direction. Though, there were also some that were heading beside him, likely to corner him and prevent him from escaping.

'Of course, this super hard Boss is also freaking smart.' once more, he cursed his horrible luck as he had to stay behind his created Earth Walls, praying that the Boss needed some time to charge between attacks or he would be cooked.

Fortunately, for him, the Boss stopped launching attacks to his sides, though the attack on his Earth Walls continued.

'Its not like the Boss couldn't go to the sides and attack me there,' he eyed his sides, the places devoid of Earth Wall, which could be where the Human Puppet would attack him next.

Taking a few steps back, Elias tried to keep vigil, not wanting the Human Puppet to caught him off guard, or he would pay dearly.

As he watched the flurry of attacks, his eyes sharpened as it stopped. Elias didn't feel excited though. Instead, he felt like a bucket of cold water was poured on him.

"Where would the Human Puppet attack next?" he said out loud, hoping to see any sign, or it would be the end of him.

At the moment, he felt like something nudged him to look to his left. He obeyed the instinct, turning his head to his left. There, he spotted the Human Puppet moving while crouching, likely an attempt to hide itself from his sight.

Elias could run away, keeping his distance. However, the Human Puppet would chase after him, and it would just prolong the fight as it would be hard for him to attack while running.

Or, he could take an even greater risk.

His brownish eyes seemingly shine, as he decided to do something very dangerous. It's a good thing he was inside a game, or this maneuver might just be the thing that got him in an obituary.
