The men were made to sign a contract under penalty of asset forfeiture and "liquidation" that they would protect the Company from all foreign and domestic competitors while swearing their allegiance to the Directorate and its CEO, which at this point was Ragnar.
Afterward, roughly 2,000 veteran warriors were transferred into the ranks of the "Heavy Assets" Division.
