Chapter 27 - CHAPTER

As I knelt beside Master Fu, I forced myself to calm down. This was not the time to panic. I had played many different roles before, and one of them required me to understand how doctors treated injuries. During that time, I had learned some basic knowledge how to clean wounds, stop bleeding, and apply bandages properly.

It was not professional medical skill.

But it was enough to help him now.

I carefully removed the blood-soaked cloth from Master Fu's legs. The wound underneath was a mess, both old and new blood mixed together. Madame Fu let out a small sob when she saw it, but I kept my focus steady.

I slowly cleaned the wound, wiping away the dried and fresh blood until the injured area was clear. Master Fu's body tensed, and a low groan escaped him, but he clenched his teeth and endured it.

"Hold on a little longer," I said softly. "It will be over soon."
