Chapter 2 - Chapter two

When Minoru walked around the school to get to know her better, he saw that there was a door to the roof.

He went up the stairs and tried to open the door, but it was locked.

he felt hopeless that it was closed.

''Of course it will be closed. Of course there have been suicides there.'' he had an angry expression on his face.

maybe some club has access to it.

he thought.

''I had no intention of joining any club, but the roof attracts me.''

he knocked on the door of the teacher's room. The door opened. Ureko-sensei appeared. She smiled.

''Do you have any questions about school, Aisaka?''

''Yes, actually. I have.'' he took a breath and asked directly ''Does any club have access to the roof?''

Ureko-sensei did not answer at first. She thought about the answer, so as to answer honestly. After a moment she replied calmly

''Only the school council has access to the roof, why do you ask?''

Minoru had enough. The school council? This is the worst. However, getting to the roof is a price worth paying.

''Oh, nothing. I was just curious if any clubs had access to the roof. And why does the student council have access?'' he replied coldly but elegantly.

''They have access to the roof because they are responsible for organizing school events and technical issues, at least that's what I've heard from others.'' Ureko-sensei replied with humor.

Mmhm, so only because of the organization...? So, if I become a trusted member, they will definitely entrust me with the key.

Well, I don't care what they think when they find out about it.

After all, I am such a terrible person.

''Can I still join the school council?'' He asked.

''Oh, are you interested in school council? Well, they accept anyone who wants to join.'' Suddenly she lowered her voice. ''But I hope you don't want to join the school council just for the roof, aisaka?''

Minoru felt as if he had been seen through. Everyone would have guessed.

''of course not, Ureko-sensei.'' he said credibly, or at least he hoped so. ''Could you take me to the student council hall, sensei?''

Ureko-sensei replied immediately. ''Of course, aisaka. follow me!''

Minoru followed her. He wanted to make a good impression, but he wanted to be himself. He had no intention of pretending to be a good guy.

They were finally at the door. However, Ureko-sensei didn't open the door.

''Aisaka. You're new to this school. A word of advice for you: Respect President Otori-san.'' The teacher had a look of concern on her face.

Respect the president? It's pure logic. Who does she think I am?

''Why are you telling me this? Of course I will respect her.'' he had a cold expression on his face as if he thought the teacher thought he was an idiot

''Aisaka! I think you're quite smart with your grades! I don't think.. you're an idiot anymore..''

Wait.

ANYMORE?

''you considered me an idiot?'' he had an expression on his face like 'are we serious rn'?

''Oh, aisaka..you know, boys with your looks are often stupid..'' the teacher laughed ''The most important thing is that during the test I changed my mind about you!''

''You teach Japanese. Native language isn't that difficult. I didn't even study at home.'' he still had a serious face

''You hurt my literary soul..'' she smiled. ''Okay, I won't detain you any longer. Go to your student council!'' she left right after she said it.

Minoru felt as if a weight had been lifted from him.

''What an annoying teacher.''

Minoru knocked on the door. He heard "come in" and went in. The classroom looked beautifully tidy, there was no teacher's desk, but a few benches placed side by side. There were four people sitting around him.

''Do you need something, boy?''

This question was asked by the guy who was literally standing next to him. He had dark blue hair.

''I wanted to join the student council. I'm new at school, so I'm asking now.''

''Oh, so you're the new guy they're talking about? The cold prince! I like the nickname!'' the pink-haired girl with short hair said it

Minoru didn't even know he had that nickname. However, this name is similar. One of the girls was talking about it yesterday.

''Please, don't call me that ugly. I'm Aisaka Minoru.'' he replied coldly.

''Hey. Don't you think you speak too coldly to others?'' The Blonde's words caught his attention. She had wrinkles on her forehead because of anger.

''No. I speak normally.'' he stayed calm.

''Aoi. Don't jump at him with your throat, okay? Haha'' The guy who was close to him said it. He winked at him.

''..I'm sorry. But it's not my fault!'' a moment later she said ''Well, now that you're our new member, I shouldn't talk like that.''

Everyone in the room laughed except minoru.

''My name is Aoi Otori, Im the president of the school council, nice..to meet you, aisaka-kun.'' The blonde introduced herself. It was to her that he was supposed to show respect. Now he understood Ureko-sensei's words.

No one would willingly respect a girl with such a personality and 150 cm.. She's too short to be a high school student. She could easily be mistaken for an elementary school student.

''Nice to meet you too, otori-san.'' he looked at her and said respectfully

'' I'm in 3rd grade, so I'm older than you. To you, that's Otori-senpai!'' She spoke to him loudly and clearly so he could hear it.

''No, thank you.'' At least it's good that she'll finish school this year.

''Rejected again?! Why doesn't anyone want to call me senpai?'' Aoi made sad eyes

''Due to short stature, for sure!'' the boy next to minoru laughed.

''Name's Ryusei Kanzaki, second grader.''

''Nice to meet you, Kanzaki-senpai.'' Minoru felt a little respect for him. He seemed trustworthy.

''OHHH! OHH! I want to be next!!'' the pink-haired girl with short hair burst out in reply.

She walked up to minoru.

''Im Shirakawa Sayu! I'm glad there are more of us! I may not look it, but I'm older than you!'' She smiled.

You are also stupider.

''I see, Shirakawa-san.''

''hmm.....I thought you would call me senpai!''

''When we get to know each other better, maybe.'' He said coldly.

That is, never.

I have no intention of becoming friends with anyone.

Finally, one last person remained. A black-haired beauty. She had long black hair that reached down to her hip. Blue eyes that reminded of the ocean. It was the first time minoru looked at a person so deeply.

''Ah, you already know me.. I'm counting on fruitful cooperation again, minoru.''

Everyone was surprised.

''you already know each other, shino?'' Aoi asked with a hint of surprise.

''Yeah, we were in the same middle school.'' shino said.

minoru looked at her.

Ichinose Shino, at middle school she was the president of the photography club he was in. They became friends, but when high school came around, she transferred to another school. they were pretty close. close enough that minoru, who hated classes, became vice-president of the club. close enough that they used their own names.

''Long time no see, shino.'' minoru looked at her as he said this.

''Well, actually, you're in the same year so it's possible that you know each other.'' Kanzaki said.

shirakawa suddenly moved her hands.

''You know what...aoi, ryusei-kun, I see a bird outside! Let's go!''

''right, right.''

and so the three left.

There was silence, but a comfortable one.

This atmosphere was only with her.
