Chapter 72 - Pioneer(II)

His ivory eyes shone brightly, a potent fierceness and tenacity pouring out of them, blanketing their surroundings.

His hands extended and his palm opened just as the egg on his lap burned to ashes. Upon his palm, a small, tiny spark of light appeared—ridiculously minute, yet of such heat that Ayah could feel the floor beneath her begin to melt.

Yet just like before, Uriel's aura towered, and he pulled the heat back, nulling it into the void.

He stared at her. "Your turn." His voice was incredibly strained.

Of their plan, Uriel's task was to find a way to pull out the egg's Spark, then stabilize and maintain it long enough for them to confirm his theory.

Then came Ayah's part.

She got to work instantly.

Unlike Enoch, Ayah understood her class almost perfectly, for the simple reason that it was born out of her witnessing the truest form of her Natal Spark.
