Disappointment

Chapter One: (Disappointment)Chapter One: (Disappointment) – Revised Suggested VersionFifteen years ago, a mysterious hole appeared suddenly in the sky, without any warning, over lands under United States jurisdiction. It didn't take long before world leaders were summoned to an emergency international meeting, filled with anxiety and fear. At its conclusion, the President of the United States announced:"Since this hole appeared within our territory, the United States will take responsibility for dealing with it. We will send a human team to explore it."Hours later, the plan was set in motion.A special fighter jet was equipped, and a team of selected soldiers boarded it, dubbed "The Messengers." Their mission was clear: enter the hole and uncover its truth... whatever the cost. The plane crossed through the hole. No sooner had it done so than it closed abruptly, as if the sky had swallowed them. The plane vanished, and the Messengers disappeared... without a trace.Hours later, a secret meeting was held between the nations, ending in a silent decision: consider the Messengers among the dead.Days and months passed... and no one returned. The President appeared in an official speech and said:"What happened was terrifying, but the hole has closed, and the world is now safe."Symbolic funerals were held, statues were made, and the Messengers were regarded as heroes who sacrificed their lives for humanity. Over time... the matter was forgotten.Fifteen years later, in broad daylight, what was unforeseen happened. The hole appeared again... in the same place. The same old plane emerged from it, along with the Messengers. The media and people gathered in the main street, joy overwhelming the place. But the President stood among them, composed, smiling... yet anxiety never left his eyes.He asked them firmly:"What did you find? And why were you gone all these years?"Their leader, Ethan, replied with an eerie calm:"We came for a mission... and we'll return soon."The Messengers dispersed, and the President watched them. Moments later, Ethan returned alone and said a short sentence:"We found it."The Messengers set off again toward the hole, aboard their old planes. One of the President's aides approached and asked:"Why let them go, sir?"The President replied calmly:"Because if they return... the world won't be ready."On the other side, far from the world's eyes...Inside a cave battered by fierce winds, a mysterious entity stood wearing a black cloak that hid his features. He was called the Leader. The leader of the Messengers, Flick, stepped forward and said:"We brought the infant you requested."The Leader looked at him and said coldly:"This is not the Awaited One... you failures."Flick said tensely:"We apologize... we'll correct the mistake."The Leader replied:"Quickly."Flick hesitated briefly, then asked:"Won't we take this infant with us? Return him to his homeland?"The Leader answered without looking at him:"No. Leave the child here."Another Messenger, Rio, asked:"Why?"The Leader replied coldly:"I'm here for a specific purpose. My decision doesn't change. Go."The Messengers left the cave and returned to their planes.Flick said, staring at the horizon:"We'll return... we'll bring the Awaited One, then go back to our homeland."As for Emma, looking out the window, she fell silent immediately when Flick drew her attention, and said fearfully:"Alright... I'll be quiet."That night, the President sat in his office, lost in thought. He whispered to himself:"Soldier Ethan... when he said (we found it), he was holding something. It wasn't clear... but that wasn't the way to hold a weapon."He paused for a moment, then added in a faint voice:"It was a child."At the same time, inside the cave, the Leader's aide asked tensely:"Why do you want the Awaited One, Leader?"The Leader replied with deadly coldness:"Because he possesses the power... to rule the ten dimensions."The aide hesitated, then said:"And why did you send the humans?"The Leader smiled shadowy:"Flick controls his friends strangely. He's stronger than he appears... Will they succeed, or will their journey end here?"End of Chapter One
