Chapter 14 - Boring. Lets spice it up!

"Interesting, so these handymen don't have an easy time, do they? Wonder what will happen tonight." whispered a small bird silently watching everything.

The bird turned his head to look over at the door where the wizard went inside. Thinking if he should eavesdrop inside.

"I will take a quick peek, if nothing interesting happening then I will come back to watch this handyman drama play out." said a squirrel as it looked like it was convincing itself.

Quietly, the squirrel made for the room. Trying to stay as unnoticed as possible.

Though its effort looked futile, because the squirrel already wrapped itself in a membrane barrier of secrecy.

No one would notice it walking by. Even if the squirrel went on and destroyed the boat below it.

Anyways.

Back to the squirrel.

"Hehehe… sneaky. Now then, what is behind door number one!" The squirrel squeezed itself into the gap between the door and floor.

With a satisfying pop. The squirrel came out to the other side.

Taking a quick look, peering at anything that may look suspicious. Yet sadly, all that was seen was the wizard laying down on the ground in a fetal position.

Everything else is bare and void. Not even any furniture or decorations.

"Well… this was a complete let down." Said a disappointed ant.

The ant did one last quick look around, just in case if there was something he missed the first time looking around.

Evidently, the results remained the same.

Ignoring the slightly weird posture the wizard was sleeping in. The ant took one last glance around before finally turning back to the gap and leaving.

The ant looked back at the lobby.

The handyman had split up, several of them have formed groups or went solo.

"I wonder what they are doing. Let's go see!" the ant quickly left and went to find its next target. Hoping for someone to have a loose mouth of creativity or wishing dreams.

…

Sadly, all that was discovered was the voices of intrigue and conspiracies.

No one being imaginatively creative or wishing for anything.

"So boring! Is backstabbing and betrayal the only thing on their minds!?" an exasperated grasshopper said.

There was no one here the grasshopper could set its sights for. It was all too boring, bored enough to be half in mind to just up and leave this place.

"That does it! If they can't give me entertainment. Then I will make my own!" said a determined dog.

"Hmmm… but what would be entertaining enough to watch though?"

A few ideas came to mind, but they felt bland and not create enough. After thinking long and hard, the dog came up with a few good ideas, however, he was still not satisfied.

He wanted the perfect idea. Something close to true joy and entertainment.

And then…

It hit him.

Literally.

A drop of water. Rain from the sky started to wet the eagle's feathers while deep in thought.

And with the rain came the perfect idea.

"hahaha! Yes, yes that will do!" the eagle laughed without abandon.

"let's do this!"
