Chapter 119 - Xiao Wu?

After scattering the last few seeds, Xin placed his hoe in the temporarily erected farm shed.

Shrek Academy... oh no, it should now be called Heart of Fire Academy's new campus.

The main road of Heart of Fire Academy's new campus was paved with white jade bricks, one to two meters in size, which was very grand and luxurious, completely incomparable to the muddy roads Shrek had before.

The road was lined with young cherry trees. Due to Xin's Spirit characteristics, these cherry trees grew very quickly; those planted on the first day would grow several centimeters by the second day, and in less than half a year, they would grow into tall, lush cherry trees.

The moonlight was bright, but no matter how Xin looked at it, it seemed to be tinged with a bloody hue.

Just as he entered the outer courtyard of the main campus, Bell was still practicing his Subduing Cat Fist, which was fierce and resolute. Though simple, he was also bold, and each punch and stance produced a hollow sound, indicating he was quite proficient.

Seeing Xin return, Bell withdrew his fists and gathered his stance, bowing slightly as he called out: "Teacher."

"Hmm, clean up and get ready for dinner." Xin said indifferently.

"Who?"

But just then, Xin's eyes suddenly changed, and he caught a whiff of a Fishy smell.

Turning around, he saw Xiao Wu, disheveled, with bloodstains on her leg from an arrow, weakly standing at the school gate, limping.

Her hair was messy, like a pitiful little beggar's. A pair of rabbit ears on her head swayed slightly, a fluffy white rabbit tail grew from her backside, and even her hands had turned into soft rabbit paws. A Spirit Beast aura emanated from her body.

Her eyes were filled with pitiful tears as she stood at the gate of Heart of Fire Academy, looking at Xin's back, and sobbed: "Xin... Teacher Xin, can you... save me—"

"Xiao Wu... you..."

Seeing Xiao Wu's appearance, Xin was stunned for a moment.

This girl had actually forcibly reverted to her Spirit Beast true form, which meant she might have risked her life to use the power of a hundred-thousand-year Spirit Beast's origin. This would put her at risk of losing her life at any moment.

"Xin... Teacher, save me... please, save Xiao Wu..." Xin stood there in a daze for a moment.

Xiao Wu just looked at him pitifully.

However, just as Xiao Wu uttered the last few words, her body went limp, and she fainted at the academy's entrance.

...

"Bell, what happened?"

"Isn't that the girl from Shrek who always followed Tang San around? How did she get so badly injured?"

"Why did she come to our Heart of Fire Academy?"

"I don't know, Teacher said she needs rest, so please go back, Senior Sisters."

Under the night sky, Ning Rongrong, Meng Yiran, and Zhu Zhuqing, who had witnessed Xin urgently carrying the unconscious Xiao Wu from the school gate back to the inner courtyard, were drawn over and asked Bell.

Bell was also a bit confused about the situation. He seemed to have... vaguely seen that girl's rabbit tail. He wondered if it was his illusion, or if the girl deliberately dressed as a rabbit? Or perhaps she was in a Spirit possession state?

...

"Fengzhi, that child seems to have entered Heart of Fire Academy."

"A hundred-thousand-year transformed Spirit Beast is truly precious, but I don't know why she would desperately run to Heart of Fire Academy."

"I wonder how Dean Xin will deal with her."
