While assembling the mark III, Tony Stark also took the time to make some gadgets, and the portable, compressible Faraday cage was one of them.

The Faraday cage was mainly used to protect ordinary people who might appear nearby. Ordinary people do not have Spider-Man's physique; if they were hit by Electro's lightning even once, they would be severely injured, if not killed.

He just didn't expect to use it so soon after arriving here, and the object of protection was New York's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

"Has my iron suit shocked you into silence? But even if you admire me, I still have to subdue you first, Max Dillon."

Tony Stark raised the right arm of his iron suit, an emitter extended, aimed at Electro, whoosh!

A long, rod-like object was launched by the iron suit.

"Strange Iron Man, I'm going to electrocute you!"

Electro was about to reach out, intending to deflect the flying rod-like object with lightning, but his vision was obscured by thick smoke, making it impossible to pinpoint the object's location. He could only wildly release lightning.

Just after launching that rod-like object, Tony Stark then used his iron suit to deploy an extremely potent smoke bomb, blocking Electro's vision.

With his vision obstructed, Electro was momentarily at a loss. While he was still disoriented, a rod-like object touched his body. The moment it made contact, it became soft and instantly bound his body.

A powerful thrust came from this soft object, and Electro could no longer float in the air, being pulled down to the ground.

Electro, who had fallen to the ground, tried to release electricity to burn off the damned rope on him, but after a burst of discharge, he found that the rope binding him hadn't changed at all. Instead, the electricity in his body was getting weaker and weaker, seemingly being drawn away by this rope and flowing into the ground.

"Where's my electricity? Where's my electricity! Where did my electricity go?" Losing the massive amount of electricity he had collected, Electro was momentarily flustered.

Electro was down for the count.

Tony Stark controlled his iron suit to descend from the sky, landing beside Electro who was lying on the ground, and said in a victorious pose:

"Smurf, I hope you have enough electricity to electrify the ground too, otherwise, just stay put."

As a genius, after receiving Electro's data from Jarvis, he began to research targeted counter-weapons. The restraint rope now binding Electro was a weapon he made specifically for Electro while the mark iii was being assembled.

Before being launched, the restraint rope was a small metal ball. After launching, it would spring open into a rope, automatically coiling around an object upon contact, and using the momentum from its launch to knock the target down. The restraint rope itself was tough enough that at least humans couldn't break free without tools.

Furthermore, the rope itself had good conductivity, or rather, 'electricity-absorbing' properties, drawing all of Electro's electricity away and guiding it into the earth.

"Spider-Kid, are you alright?" Tony Stark asked.

At this moment, Spider-Man Peter Parker slowly recovered, regaining some strength. He struggled to push open the Faraday cage covering him, poked his head out, and shouted to Tony Stark, who was wearing the Mark iron suit:

"Save Gwen! She was taken by Harry, she's in the control center!"

"There's an accomplice? That Harry Osborn?"

Tony Stark didn't waste any time. Without waiting for Spider-Man to confirm his guess, he directly controlled the mark iii to fly towards the control room.

"I'm counting on you, Iron Man!"

Under the propulsion of the thrusters, Tony Stark quickly arrived at the control room. He entered through a broken hole in the large glass window but didn't see anyone.

"Not here, did they leave?"

With a bang, Tony Stark controlled his iron suit to smash through another pane of glass and flew out of the control room.

Stark doesn't take the same path.

"Jarvis, search for the target."

Tony Stark ordered his intelligent butler, and then, under Jarvis's control, all the sensors on the mark III began to operate.

The iron suit designed by Tony Stark wasn't just able to collect information from the mask's position.

Under Jarvis's scan, the internal display of the mark iii iron suit's mask quickly showed the information found.

"Sir, the target is on the clock tower outside the power grid," Jarvis stated the final result.

"Go."

A golden-red arc streaked across the sky, instantly arriving at the clock tower.

"We're just going to reap the benefits now. I didn't expect Tony Stark to deal with Electro so quickly!"

Glancing at the direction where the iron suit disappeared, Lionel felt quite emotional. Electro was actually taken down by Iron Man in one move.

Makima, who had witnessed the entire battle between Tony Stark and Electro, said:

"A very intelligent human, not just a playboy as the news says. He fully exploited Electro's weakness, using smoke to obscure the enemy's vision, and then using a rope that could absorb electricity to control the target. It must be a weapon designed with knowledge of Electro's abilities."

"Being a playboy isn't exactly a flaw!" Lionel added.

"Oh! Lionel, do you also want to be a playboy?" Makima tilted her head curiously.

"Of course, what man doesn't want to be a playboy like Tony Stark!"

"But if I really had to be a playboy, I'd rather not."

"Why?"

"Think about it, every supercar on the showroom floor gleams. A playboy is like chasing new supercars—just when you've figured out the temperament of one, you're already eyeing the more dazzling paint job on the car in the next booth. But the one you truly drive home, you'll remember every jolt of its gearbox, the slow-to-heat seat you complained about, and the warmth from the steering wheel as the headlights cut through the darkness on a rainy night. These trivial things are what turn steel into a home."

"I like that analogy."

Lionel and Makima chatted as they had already arrived below the control center, where Electro was still squirming on the ground.

After all his electricity was diverted by the strange rope, Electro Max Dillon began to try and break free from his restraints, but with his ability to control electricity rendered ineffective, he was just an ordinary person with decent physical fitness. With his hands and feet bound, he couldn't break free at all.

Spider-Man Peter Parker had already crawled out of the Faraday cage and was leaning against the wall at the base of the control center tower. He wanted to stand up and save Gwen Stacy, but with several broken bones and internal organs injured to varying degrees, he couldn't get up at all.

"Gwen, you must be okay!"

Spider-Man Peter Parker could only place his hope in the mysterious Iron Man now; the other party had dealt with Electro as soon as he appeared, so he would definitely be able to save Gwen.

"Spider-Man, you just wait for me. Once I get rid of this damned rope, I'll come and deal with you!"

Spider-Man Peter Parker didn't have the strength to argue with Electro Max Dillon anymore. If he hadn't been injured, he would have definitely had a good debate with Max, explaining some strange reason.

"Why are there more people coming? Are they reporters?"

He saw two people slowly walking over.
