After the episode with Sel, Bahamut headed out, wanting to start his quest, only to meet Apollonia just behind their door.
"Master calls you," she said simply, her expression cold.
"Uh... okay..." Bahamut nodded at her, turned, and entered the house.
Upon returning, he found Sel already coming towards the entrance.
"You heard..."
"Mm."
Bahamut then strolled over to his bed, picked up Ren, and stealthily equipped his new blindfold. The moment it covered his eyes, he felt his senses sharpen to newer heights to the extent that this time he wasn't making out silhouettes or outlines of stuff, but he could see clearer.
"Nice..."
He walked out of the residence with Ren sprawled on his shoulder, still pretending to be asleep.

The room was vast, yet it did not feel empty.
