At Tony Stark's seaside villa,
Though this wasn't the main battlefield, it was far from peaceful.
Thousands of Deep Sea creatures came ashore here, and the most eye-catching target on the coast… was the mansion itself.
Tony, peacefully researching upgrades to his armor at home, could only sigh.
"Fine. The Chairman told me not to go out… but if they're knocking on my front door, I'm calling this self-defense."
He stood before his newest creation.
Mark VI.
After studying his father's legacy, Tony achieved a technological breakthrough and developed a new Arc Reactor.
More power. No palladium poisoning. Heavier armor. No more embarrassing knock-outs from random monsters.
A wrist-mounted laser blade had also been added—capable of slicing through most materials, though it consumed enormous energy and could only be used once.
With these upgrades, Tony had reached quasi B-Class combat capability. Solve the energy drain issue, and he would firmly step into B-Class hero territory.
"Jarvis, deploy autonomous suits. Clean up stragglers and provide combat support."
"Autonomous suits activated, sir."
The underground hangar opened.
Thirty automated suits—each equivalent to Mark II—soared into the sky under Jarvis's control.
They unleashed coordinated firepower on the screaming Deep Sea creatures rushing inland.
Tony's League bracelet chimed constantly.
Energy points skyrocketed.
Thousands of Wolf-level creatures meant nearly a thousand energy points if cleared.
"XP farming time."
Mark VI took to the skies.
Missiles rained down, turning the shore into waves and misted blood.
With no anti-air capability and wide open terrain, the Deep Sea creatures were helpless under aerial bombardment.
When ammo ran dry, Tony simply landed, reloaded, and continued.
"Too easy. These mobs are very considerate."
"Sir, War Machine from the Avengers is requesting communication."
"Rhodey? Patch him through."
War Machine's voice came through first.
Then Captain America took over.
"We request Hero League assistance. In exchange, S.H.I.E.L.D. is willing to open its vault. You may choose any stored artifact."
Tony paused mid-blast, laser vaporizing a Deep Sea monster.
"Oh? S.H.I.E.L.D.'s got quite a treasure room. Can you authorize that, Captain?"
"I've already spoken to Fury."
"Alright. I'll inform the Chairman. Whether he agrees… that's another story."
