Chapter 1 - chapter 1 Rebirth of Aditya and The Vampire Awakening

"aditya, don't fall into a ditch."

A boy shouted in the corridor and immediately burst into loud laughter.

Aditya didn't understand how to reply, so he stayed silent and kept walking. Because I had reincarnated. With great sadness, from now on, I was the owner of this body.

Why am I saying this? The answer is simple. This body was completely filled with weakness, and the eyesight was extremely poor. Because of that, this boy had to wear glasses all the time.

And now, one lens of those glasses had fallen somewhere outside. The reason the glasses broke was the bullying that happened every day at this school—and every day, I was its victim.

One of the students said, "Even on the last day of school, Aditya became a victim of bullying. His luck is really bad."

Today was the last day of school for the original owner of this body. He wanted, no matter what, for today to go well. But he didn't know that today was also his last day. I sighed deeply in my heart.

"Don't worry, aditya. I will take revenge on your behalf."

At that moment, I felt the burden on this body become lighter, and I could control it much better. It was as if aditya's remaining consciousness had heard my words and peacefully said goodbye to this world.

From now on, I am Aditya.

I walked out of the school gate and headed toward my home. When I reached my apartment, I started cleaning the place.

The apartment was so small that there was only enough space for a bed and a wardrobe, and a TV was mounted on the wall.

From Aditya's memories, I learned that he had no family or relatives. Because of that, the government had provided him with this apartment.

After that, I lay down on the bed and turned on the TV using the remote. The news was playing on the screen.

"It has been fifth years since the peace agreement with the primals. However, according to recent reports, war may begin again."

Hearing this, I immediately started digging through Aditya's memories and learned the truth.

Sixteen years ago, aliens called the Primals came to Earth. Their appearance was terrifying—violent in nature, their bodies covered in scales, and a dragon-like tail behind them. They wanted to enslave humans and take all of Earth's resources.

Humans chose to fight instead of becoming slaves. But all human weapons and bombs were useless against them. At that time, all of humanity—without discrimination—united and fought against the Dalki. Still, humans suffered a crushing defeat.

Millions of people lost their lives. Among them were aditya's father and mother. Because of this, aditya was forced to live the life of an orphan.

But a ray of hope was lit for humanity. That hope came in the form of people who possessed special talents.

To win the war, they shared the secret of their power with humans, allowing humanity to grow stronger. However, the primals were also powerful, and the war continued for five long years.

In the end, since neither side gained any advantage, both sides signed a peace agreement five years ago.

And then came what always happens in the world.

When a great external threat disappears, an internal crisis begins.

The greed of top-level government officials started to awaken. They kept the secret of awakening power to themselves. Only the rich could buy the true secret, while the rest were given inferior, ordinary versions of power.

Why did I reincarnate into such a world, where power is everything—and I don't have any power at all? Oh God, why did you send me to such a world? I complained to the heavens.

"Well… if possible, please send me a system. Any system will do. Even a bad one is fine. Please," I prayed sincerely to God.

[Ding!]

[God has heard your prayer and has granted you the Vampire Lord System.]

Suddenly, along with a ding, a message echoed in my mind. Tears of joy started flowing from my eyes—but when I read the name of the system, I felt like crying in sorrow instead.

Everyone knows that becoming a vampire grants great power, but it also brings curses along with it.

Burning under sunlight, weakness to silver, coffins, and many other things. But the greatest curse of all is drinking human blood—something that turns one into a beast.

I didn't want to become a vampire. But to survive in this world, I was ready to accept even that. I steeled myself in my heart.

[Host, there is no need to worry so much.]

[The system has prepared a beginner's package for you. You will receive a surprise if you open it.]

"What kind of surprise?" I asked.

[No. The system follows its rules. You must open it yourself.]

"Fine. Whatever it is, I'm ready to face it," I thought helplessly.

As soon as I agreed, the system opened the package. Inside,

I received: an Origin Vampire Bloodline Awakening Book, a Holy Cup, and finally, a Storage Ring.

Origin Vampire Tribe Bloodline: The origin of vampires from another world—the source from which vampires were born. Unlike normal vampires, there is no problem with sunlight, and other weaknesses have greatly reduced effects.

Holy Cup: A holy weapon of vampires from another world. Any ordinary liquid poured into this cup will transform into vampire blood. With this, there is no need to hunt humans.

Storage Ring: You can store any item inside it. Liquids can also be stored.

Reading all this, I was stunned. Then I finally breathed in relief, because I had no desire to drink someone else's blood.

"System, will there be pain during the transformation into a vampire?" I asked.

[Host, there is no need to worry. You will only feel a little pain.]

"Alright."

"Give me permission to proceed," I said.

The system immediately began the process of merging the bloodline with my body.

I thought it would hurt just a little—but it felt like countless needles were piercing my body at once.

I couldn't say anything. My eyes slowly began to close, and opening them became extremely difficult. In the end, I lost consciousness.

Just before fainting, I heard the system's voice.

[Host, the process has been completed. Congratulations on obtaining the Origin Blood Tribe.]

After hearing the final message, everything went dark.

"Damn system…" I felt like cursing it with all my heart.

In the morning, I slowly opened my eyes. My body felt heavy, and there was a dull ache everywhere.

"That stupid system…"

No, forget it. This wasn't really its fault. I would have had to endure this anyway. I comforted myself.

Then I realized something—I had become stronger. For example, I could easily defeat a hundred versions of my former self. I also noticed that I no longer needed glasses.

When I touched my teeth, I felt two sharp vampire fangs.

"Can these fangs switch between normal and vampire form?" I asked myself. "Let's try."

"Haha… it worked!"

Now no one would be able to notice them. I laughed.

"System, show me my details."

A transparent interface appeared in front of me.

[Host: Aditya]

"Wow," I muttered.

"It's just like a game panel."

After reading it, I understood that I was now five times stronger than a normal human.
