Chapter 24 - Echoes Inside Eileen

Sera stepped forward, her calm expression hiding real unease.

The air around them felt heavier, as if the forest itself were holding its breath.

"We have to stop this. Now," she said firmly.

"Siron's transformation must be halted immediately."

She narrowed her eyes, sensing the danger.

"There's something wrong with his energy. It's not chaotic… it's focused. Directed straight at us."

Then she turned sharply.

"Move, boy," she ordered Ryan.

"And you too," she added, looking at Eileen.

"We unite now and stop him, or he will destroy us all."

But Eileen didn't move.

She stood completely still, eyes wide, staring into nothing…as if she were seeing something no one else could.

She wasn't unconscious.

She was fully awake.

And the vision returned.

The same scene she had seen before…but clearer this time. Sharper. Alive.

A vast hall with towering walls.

Dim light falling from above.

Screams echoing through the space.

At the center stood a throne.

And upon it… a woman.

A crown rested on her head, but her body lay lifeless. Her face was unclear, as if the memory itself was trembling.

But the blood was real.

It flowed from her neck. From her eyes. From her mouth.

As if death itself had wanted to leave a message behind.

Eileen gasped and pressed her hand to her head.

"What is this…?" she whispered.

"What am I seeing…?"

The image didn't fade.it drew closer ,

The scene closed in, closer and closer.

A heavy pressure settled in her chest. This wasn't just a memory…it felt like a truth forcing itself into her mind.

The woman's face began to shift.

Forming. Distorting.

Eileen clenched her head tightly.

"If you're dead…" she whispered, voice shaking,

"then how can I see you?

How can someone dead be here… inside me?"

The answer came instantly.

Not as a voice.

But as certainty.

"Yes. You see me while I am dead.

I am inside you, Eileen."

Her body trembled.

Broken images flooded her mind—

Collapsed magic circles.

Hands stained with blood.

Two figures standing before the woman.

A scream that never finished.

And betrayal—heavy, suffocating.

Eileen felt that these emotions

did not belong to her alone.

A tear slipped from her eye.

But it wasn't water.

It was blue light.

"Eileen!" Sera shouted.

"Are you listening to me? We have to move—now!"

But Eileen didn't hear her.

She was trapped in another place.

Then suddenly—she turned.

She looked at Sera and Ryan, both staring at her in shock.

Blue light leaked from her eyes…

from her right hand…

from her foot.

As if her energy itself were bleeding out.

"Are you… crying?" Sera asked, stunned.

"What is this energy? Why is it escaping like this?"

Ryan stepped closer, his voice filled with concern.

"Eileen… are you alright?

Tell me. What are you feeling?"

Eileen tried to answer, but the words wouldn't come.

"I don't know," she said weakly.

"My mind… it's showing me things I've never lived.

Things I don't understand."

Sera clenched her fist and turned to Ryan.

"All of this..we'll talk about it later" she said coldly.

"After this battle, I want answers.

Your goals. Who you really are. Why you're here.

And what your connection to all of this is."

Ryan nodded calmly.

"Fine.

And I want answers too—who you are, why you're helping us, and why you stepped into this forest."

Sera met his gaze.

"Agreed."

Then Ryan looked toward Siron.

"But right now… we have to stop him."

Sera turned back to Eileen one last time.

"Focus," she said firmly.

"This is not the time for memories.

Right now—we have one goal."
