The warning landed between two names.

Rin had just written **HANA RISS** in the notebook—block letters, a shaky underline—when Tal's band buzzed.

He stopped talking mid‑sentence.

"…and the twins from stairwell four, the ones with—"

His eyes flicked to his wrist.

The safe room's air changed.

"Who is it," Nia asked.

"Group band," Tal said. "Everyone."

Rell looked up from the corner, where he was copying names from the cracked tablet to the paper index with slow, careful strokes.

"Everyone who," he asked.

"Us," Nia said. "The usual suspects."

"Plus the ghost," Tal added.

Rin capped her pen.

"Show me," she said.

Tal flicked the message onto the wall.

Letters blossomed in pale blue over their map of Twelve‑Lower, hovering just above the circles and lines they'd spent the morning drawing.

NOISE ON SUB‑GRID 12 = EXCUSE FOR A SWEEP.

ROUTES 3C, 4A, 5D HIGH RISK AFTER CURFEW.

RECOMMEND DIVERTING INDEX MOVES VIA 2B/5B UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
